I liked the vocals on La Vie En Rose but I guess generally the first singles from Produce groups are always well produced because they're done well beforehand (and in this case had CLCs guide tracks to sing to who have great vocalists). seems like producers are having trouble with finding their vocal sweet spot.

Way better than Buenos Aires but that bar was very low already. I see Akimoto still dgaf about properly mixing vocals. Also, I wish the strings and piano instrumental (from the bridge) were more 'in front/louder' in the mix, they were really nice.

Everything but the vocals sound so muted in a bad way...this sounds like it was recorded in the garage wth???? Their japanese debut song was so much better production wise, what happened.
At least the styling and music video departement are doing their jobs, the girls and the video look great!

I don't get how blatant the production difference is between their Korean and Japanese releases. I mean, there's often a gap (even groups like GFriend where I enjoy the Japanese tracks sound slightly off), but IZONE's Japanese team really don't care. Some of these parts feel really shrill and the song could have been a lot better with adequate production?
They don't even have to add all the vocal layering kpop uses to make vocals sound more polished if they want to keep this "raw" feeling ; even the backing track seems off?
I guess I'm just miles off their audiance target
