TVN confirms 2nd season for Secret Forest

tvN's #SecretForest confirmed for season 2. The drama will be written by the same writer Lee Soo Yeon and directed by Lee Soo Yeon PD (Just Dance, Uncontrollably Fond).

Yes!!! I've been waiting so long for them to announce this. The cast kept talking about doing more seasons but nothing was getting announced.

I tried Secret forest once, and dropped after 2 episodes (Was not in the mood for police/prosecutor drama).

One year after I tried again and I loved it, so good.

I always liked Cho Seung Woo, but I really enjoyed him in Secret forest!!

After I watched "life", I realized he is really good actor! He played another cold type, but different and not the same as his character from Secret Forest.

I also loved him in God's Gift - 14 Days, he was so charming.

I watched this and God's Gift back to back and I was like "wow, is this really the same person?' He feels so different in both dramas. He's such a great actor.

I loved it on my first watch, and the second watch made me appreciate so much more. There's so many details and foreshadowing hidden in the series. I think I have watched it four times now and I keep finding new details each time I may like this series a bit too much

I took a break (nap hahaha) but now I'm on episode 6 hahaha will most likely finish this by tomorrow =) I really like crime/police-prosecutors kdramas (I just finished The Watcher and down to the last few episodes of Class of Lies). The episodes of Forest of Secrets are fast paced and there's always something new in every episode. Very interesting to watch.

Ah, you're binge watching it. I did the same. It's going to be a pain watching the second season weekly lol I need to watch more kdramas, but with the episodes always being 1+ hours I always end up losing interest.

I am very patient with on-going kdramas lol its one of those things that makes me look forward to a specific day in a week. For some time, I was more excited for Mondays-Tuesdays instead of weekends just because there were really good kdramas on the Monday-Tuesday slot! Helps me survive the week hahaha And my VIU subscription is very precious to me because of this.

So I finished watching yesterday and it was amazing! Funny thing, I realized I've already watched the final episode HAHAHA tvN Asia aired this drama before but I never had the change to catch it on TV except for the finale hahaha

LMFAO. I hope that you realized it at the end and you didn't spoil yourself lol the reveal of who was the killer really caught me off guard. But I could tell who was behind all and why (to some degree) from quite early, I think they made that quite obvious.

True. It's obvious who was behind but they still managed to make it interesting. In Class of Lies, it took a few episodes with me guessing who's the culprit then when it became obvious who's the killer, it became more interesting for me.

Well, I really liked it. It's probably the k-drama that I've enjoyed the most alongside It's OK, That's Love. One of the things I liked the most about it is that the main female is not completly useless, wich is one of my main problems with a lot of k-dramas (and anime).

The subs seemed fine to me (but I don't speak korean so I wouldn't know), I mean they were significantly better than the spanish ones lmao. They do miss some nuances. Like I remember the main character adresses some characters a certain way during the series and that changes towards the end, and the subs totally not convey what the korean (with the use of honorifics) does.

It's also on VIU and OnDemandKorea if you have acces to them.

Literally the best written drama I have ever seen in any language. The detail in the script is mind blowing and theres literally no plot holes despite how complicated is the drama. I thought we gonna get the 2nd season at this time of the year since they announced it early this year but looks like we have to wait until next year for it. :(((

Seungwoo has been doing the Jekyll&Hyde musical since last year up until a few months ago, and he instantly announced his new musical upon the ending of J&H. And Bae Doona has been doing tons of projects so I already knew we wouldn't get it this year ;____; And i expect the 2nd season to be at least end of spring/beginning of summer if they are going to film it ahead of airing like last time. Sice Seungwoo has his new musical until February :(((

Also mte on this series. And I love your avatar <3 that was one of the most rewarding scenes ever lmao
