Yeah this is like bare minimum in terms of promotional effort but Cube can’t even do that consistently. I hope they keep rising. They’re so talented and deserve some recognition.
CLC have the perfect formula for a successful group so I continue to wish for people to really give them the recognition they deserve. They have an amazing vocalist in Seunghee. Maybe a biased opinion and I know there are other great vocalist in girl groups (not just one but many members in some groups are great vocalists) but I really think her vocals are top grade. Clear and smooth. CLC also have a dancing diva in Seungyeon. One of the best dancers! And they have a legit good rapper in Yeeun. Some groups have rappers just to keep up with the positions they usually have in groups but Yeeun is a good one. There may have been some time that people didn't like her sounding like Hyuna but she's got her own tone now. The rest of CLC are good as well and yeassssss they all look really good and I love that they also look healthy =) it must be hard pushing promotions but thank goodness their members are more active now and even doing their own thing (Hello Sorn's YT channel!) making them more available for their fans.
Kinda frustrating sometimes to see a group with good music not become super popular but there's just too many groups out there right now. As a fan of BTOB, I understand and have learned to be patient lol
See, my controversial opinion is that Seunghee is part of why they’re not as popular. She’s a great vocalist but even now she looks....withdrawn on stage. Her performances fall kind of flat for me and it’s really a shame. I don’t know if she’s just not comfortable or if she just doesn’t emote well but it’s super noticeable in every stage I’ve watched over the years.
Did you see Seungyeon at the waterbomb festival? Home girl was 900% hot girl summer and I was living for it!
Sorn’s YouTube videos are what got me into CLC about 2 years ago. She deserves awards for that alone.
I think Seunghee can turn it on to perform sometimes, but yea it’s not every time and she can sometimes fall into the ‘does she want to be there’ category with some idols lol. She’s a great singer but she’s not naturally charming to the audience - I think Elkie succeeds in that regard
