COMPLETELY unnecessary. I'm totally wtf?! with Taemin especially, since he already has such a successful career as a solo AND group member. Why is he doing this? Is his contract with SM so draconian that they can compel him to take part? Of course they've been directing his life for well over a decade now, but I still don't understand his involvement. He doesn't need this.

I'm of two minds about seeing them live. Part of me says no thanks, I'd just miss the other members of SHINee all the more, but at the same time, seeing Taem with these guys IS the closest I'll get to seeing SHINee for what? Five, six years? Once again I lament having come so late to the party... :( #sadshawol

US is full of multi fans, they'll show up for sure, especially if it's free lol
as for album sales in the US, they're apparently doing every merch bundle under the sun like NCT's last comeback so they'll debut high (top 10 probs, maybe even top 5, US sales are tragic rn) but then, unless their streaming improves by a LOT they'll drop off the charts after one week like NCT too. So kind of a hollow success.

doubt physical sales will come close to EXO's sales. I'd expect around NCT's regular sales. K-fans and C-fans buy the most physical albums and a lot of the big fanbases aren't hft. Pretty sure Baekhyun's fans are saving for his next solo and Kai's are saving up for his hopefully-eventually-gonna-happen solo.

who knows, if they do a bunch of fansigns that might change things? fans will always line up to see their faves.

according to wikipedia 27k, of which 25k were album downloads and physical cds. that's what I meant by lack of streaming numbers. And they sold virtually everything as an album, socks, shirts, RSV-spots... I think every physical album from the US website also came with a digital download code.

I had forgotten that I had a $10 off coupon for the SM Global Shop so I just snagged a copy for less than $9 with shipping.

As for the group itself, I'm still a bit apprehensive, but I'm trying to remain optimistic about the entire ordeal. I do like their photo teasers and I love the overall design of their stuff so props to whoever is putting that together.
