Jaden Jeong was the mastermind behind LOONA's concept. He created their storyline and lore.

LOONA gave a status update on their upcoming comeback.

They revealed it during their interview at “2019 K-WORLD FESTA” photo wall. The event was held at the KSPO Dome at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 24th.

That day, LOONA said “We are practicing very hard in preparation for our comeback in the second half of this year. In order to show off good performances and have a successful comeback, we are ‘sharpening our knives’.”

They added that “their health is very good because of their daily exercises and a healthy diet.”

Lee Sangmin and Shin Shin Ayeong, who are the MCs for the event, will be joined on stage by top artists such as ATEEZ, April, Baek Jiyoung, Cherry Bullet, (G)I-dle, Ha Sung Woon, ITZY, Kisum, LOONA, Nature, N.Flying, Stray Kids, and Super Junior.

Meanwhile, “2019 K-WORLD FESTA” finished its opening ceremony, K-OST concert, K-Band concert, K-Soul Concert, Miss Trot National Tour Encore Concert, SBS MTV “The Show,” Celuv.tV Live Show, K-Hip Hop concert, and the “2019 Soribada Best K-Music Awards” with great success. On the 24th, they will finish with a musical super concert and closing performances.

Someone on twitter translated a screenshot of one of his replies saying he had wrote the Loonaverse until album 45 (for reference xx album is no. 19) so there is still hope!

Yeah, it was cool at first, but now fans just take it way too far and make it way too complicated. Apparently Jaden Jeong took inspiration from people’s theories about the loonaverse so that’s probably why.

I honestly thought the "lore" stuff was randomness the OTT stans made up, but apparently not.

Like I don't freakin' care man. Just give me more songs like Butterfly and less like HH and I'll stream you. Nice visuals are definitely a bonus because I watch music shows as well. Obvously that's just me but I know i'm not the only super casual who gets put off by the supposed metaphors and whatnot. I know BTS does some too or whatever but I feel like their stuff is still super acceptable to mainstream casual fans like me who can't even tell you any of their names.

I'm really anxious tbh (Loona is pretty much my fav group from this gen and I don't think I will 'stan' anyone else after them). He not only came up with the lore and oversaw all the whole pre-debut project, he was heavily involved in the music production, even writing lyrics for a lot of the tracks :/ I swear, if Monotree and Digipedi bounce, I'm gonna scream x__x

Orbits can't catch a break; August was such a good month for the group and then this. I'm gonna have faith in BBC, but I can't deny that this really worries me :(

He did say in an instagram comment that he wrote the Loonaverse up until album 45 and I think their latest album was number 19 or 20, but I'm not sure if he meant just the plot or...

Either way, I'm a bit nervous.

I'm among those who cares about the storyline, so I hope Jaden left with instructions on how to resolve this (even if it will certainely be less the focus moving forward). But I trust Loona to be still in good hands if they keep working with Monotree and Digipedi and everyone at BBC that helped Jaden do his job.

I wonder if Jaden left because of the new boy group since he seems to move from pre-debut to pre-debut project (Lovelyz, Loona, apparently The Boyz as well?), or if he was pushed out because Hi High/Butterfly didn't have the results everyone expected? Now it makes sence that "La Maison Loona" and a group comeback were delayed. The dance covers were also a really different strategy from what they've done before, I wonder if that was already a sign of Jaden being less involved.

Still really excited about B#RN and the dance cover they used to tease us. They've been a lot more active lately so I hope it's coming soon!!!
