Yeah, that August date seems off. It seems like they were tightening up the choreo last week and I don't think an mv has been shot yet. It's been rumored that Taemin/Taeyong/Mark are flying to Dubai from Seoul and Lucas/Ten will be flying in from Beijing in the next couple days. People think they're either shooting the mv or the album pics in Dubai.
I still don't understand why the teaser need to be so dark but I'm excited. I just want to see Ten and Taemin/Ten working together. And I hope SM promoting Lucas/Ten internationally means they'll start distributing/selling WayV's albums outside of China.
Baek is in the group (not a fan of EXO but I like his voice) I'm not familiar with NCT vocals so I cant comment about them. But we don't know how their songs would be hahaha cant tell yet if they even need good vocalists for their songs.
Ten is the lead vocalist in WayV, stable live, charismatic, and one of two members fluent in English. The only other vocalist in NCT popular enough to be in this group would be Jaehyun. Everyone else lacks the English skills, the dance skills, doesn't look like Lucas, or they're not charismatic performers. I'm interested in what role Kai will play in the songs. I honestly have no idea if he's a rapper or singer.
