Honestly I've never been that into kpop's genre of 'summer songs' but Red Flavor was really THAT Red-Red Velvet song for me.

I know they've put Hyunas's Bubble Pop! on here but them leaving Red out is literal blasphemy

I also really like Tiki Taka and I'm happy that it seems to be getting a lot of love, let's hope the IOI reunion doesn't dull WKMK's momentum too much!

sistar's summer songs have always been the best, especially shake it and touch my body

"Touch my Body" is THAT summer song imo, so I would have put the original version there. A lot of Sistar's songs saved summer tbh. Like, "Loving U" deserved a spot too (maybe more than "Shake it" tbh)!!

My personal list would also include Hyuna's "Red" and 9MUSES' "Hurt Locker". Both are songs I'll never get tired of, unlike a lot of summer songs that I find a little forgettable. Also, don't know if it qualifies as a summer song but Gfriend's "Me gustas tu" is one of my fav (the MV is very summer-ey)".

same, i'm disappointed (but not surprised) they forgot about hurt locker - they included an unpopular rookie group like Elris (i happen to like them, but still) but couldn't even think about nine muses? ah, i'm so sad for them, it's really the story of their career

If I had to pick one Sistar song for summer, I think it would be I Swear.
I love Ice Chu and am sad there are no further opportunies for that subunit.

My fave Sistar songs are I Swear, Alone and I like That, I also like Give it to me.
They were so consistent in having great songs.

It's been almost a year since Gugudan's last song. I wonder if Minkyu's popularity means they will focus on the boy trainees more.

Its impossible to pick a fav but Red Flavor and a whole slew of Sistar/Hyolyn songs probably take the top spots. I also really quite like Odd Eye Circle's "Girl Front" as a summer song and wish it had been included on this compilation but one day Loona will have their day lol

I see them trying to be inclusive with so many groups, but did 4minute, Kara and T-ara not release any summer bops?

I Swear or Loving U would have been a better choice for summer songs though. and Heart Attack for AOA definitely brings more summer vibes than Bingle Bangle.
But yes to Red Flavour, Hot Summer and Bubble Pop!
