The lines that were copied word-for-word (literally) by Infinite’s L from Seohyun’s message to SONEs lol

The English translations will definitely differ between the two due to translators and context.

But the Korean words in the sentences are exactly the same lol
Except SNSD > Infinite, unnies > members, etc

i'm more impressed by the fact people remember so many idols departure letter by heart , to the point they can remember words order ... when i read those translations all feel the same , so i'm assuming they all look the same in korean too

idk enough korean (or any of those idols writing style) to know if those lines are common expressions or super special heartfelt expression used only by Seohyun or Hoya

why is everyone who don’t even speak Korean so quick to defend with ‘it’s all same wordings and similar anyway’ , it’s obvious and the letters he copied from are not particularly complex but none of them parrot the other. There’s more explanation right there in the translation thread.

Does it matters? Yeah i’d say. The least an idol 9 years into the business could do is show a smidge of gratitude for his fans’ support.

I don’t care either way but I’m quite done with I-fan with 0 cultural context/brief understand of the language + unbothered to look it up further and proceed to invalidate others with their own standards of ‘nothing wrong’ and ‘pressed kfans/knet’ narrative 🙄

Honestly, if it is true plagiarism (which I use lightly bc its not like this is academic research) I doubt it was his own idea considering I barely read through translated letters from idols I like, I doubt he'd have read all these idols letters to be like, oh yeah I want line 6 from Yookyungs letter
