On August 19, MOMOLAND’s agency MLD Entertainment released an official statement that reads as follows:

Here is our official statement regarding our agency artist, MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo.

Recently, Yeonwoo has been consistently receiving treatment and is overcoming her panic disorder ahead of filming for tvN’s ‘Cheap Cheonlima Mart.’

Back in June, Yeonwoo was rumored to be leaving MOMOLAND after not participating in the group’s activities for a month. MLD Entertainment denied the rumors saying she was filming for a drama, and Yeonwoo personally posted an explanation on the group’s fan cafe.

Yeonwoo is set to appear in tvN’s new drama, “Cheap Cheonlima Mart” (literal title), which premieres on September 20. She will play Kwon Young Goo’s (Park Ho San‘s) daughter Kwon Ji Na.
