I was not expecting a fun MV (a la Boogie Up). and the ending seems to be introducing a follow up?! and yes to the girls having fun!
song wise, the build-up to the chorus and chorus are my fave parts. the bridge can stay too, it's just the verses that don't really suit my taste. can't wait for Rina and Yoojung to do the chorus dances! also, no rap makes this song flow, and as much as Yoojung is talented as a rapper, it would have been out of place here. can't wait for Yoojung and Suyeon to shine on that reality programme
This isn't their usual fare but honestly it makes a cute summer bop and I'm not mad at it, the MV is cute, all the girls seemed to get an even amount of screentime even if Lua seems to have NO LINES (no seriously the lines we thought were hers were actually Lucy's so?????) I love the idea that they're trying to escape from these constant 'missions' so they go on a holiday, cute way of introducing a summer concept into their wheelhouse. I look forward to their next 'mission'! I'm happy about the amount of Rina in this song, she was shafted a bit for Picky Picky and I like she seems to taken over the role of 'default bridge singer' from Sei now that Sei is getting more verse/chorus lines? WKMK all have such fun, silly personalities and videos like this really allow that to shine through
Also worth pointing out that Picky Picky has now overtaken Crush for views so here's hoping they're back on a climb digitally even if their physicals are declining!
I feel like their company had been taking long breaks in between comebacks before picky picky so that’s why their physicals declined. Or could there be another reason why? A lot of people definitely loved Picky Picky, so hopefully their fandom will grow
I think their first two tracks were just a little too divisive to sustain some of their more casual fans and so they've slowly dropped off. There was only five months between their debut and their first comeback, seven months to their second comeback, six months to Picky Picky. There were probably a couple of comebacks that could have happened sooner but also none of those are particularly long in the world of kpop. They definitely seem to be turning around people's impressions of them in the last few comebacks, I hope it translates to actual monetary success!
I honestly wish title track 2 had been iron boy instead of lalala - they not only had choreography for that but it's a better general song that uses everyone in the group to their fullest potential. I don't acknowledge the song before picky picky tho
I liked La La La but yeah I don't think it should have been lead single. They could have done a really fun retro schoolgirl concept video for Iron Boy. It's not my favourite but I can see it being more public friendly. In my ideal world they'd have promoted it alongside Metronome.

Love the song and MV. It might not be super original but they genuinely look like they’re having fun and I love the choreo. Besides boogie up this is the only gg song that has given me a summer vibe. Can’t wait to see it live since they’re so charming on stage. Also it’s good to see them genuinely silly, goofy and active rather than just posing and looking pretty in front of a camera

I’m going to be a little mean here but Doyeon’s beauty is on a whole different level than the other girls...it really stands out, and maybe not in a positive way?
The song is cute but doesn't really feel like Weki Meki to me (maybe because there' no rap part), but summer is coming to an end. Kids are back at school; the timing doesn't seem that good. But, if what people are speculating is true, the song serves its purpose of just reminding everyone that Weki Meki exists before the I.O.I reunion.
Finally the MV !!! I really don't understand their strategy here. They made us wait for A WHOLE WEEK but the MV isn't anything special? I get it because it's a quick repackage between two full-blown comebacks, they're cutting costs, and it's fun that they're basically avoiding their "mission" in the MV to be on vacation instead. But why made us wait a week for it? And Lua barely had any screentime? she already doesn't get lines (I thought the had those spoken adlibs during the chorus but it's Lucy???), why are Fantagio doing her dirty like that?
THIS SAID, I really really like the song, it's the perfect kind of light and fun summer track. Visually it's really pretty as well, they're all super cute and I'm glad they managed to squeeze a comeback between Picky Picky and Doyeon/Yoojung going back to IOI!
not as kidz boppy and guilty pleasure-feeling as picky picky but not as infectiously catchy either, i'll take it tho the choreo however!! is a riot i love it
