Date: 2010-02-03 01:57 pm (UTC)historically too, people usually buy on the first day or on the first week so the second week sales (and the subsequent weeks) is minuscule compared on the first week. unless something happens like a concert, releasing another version, etc to boost sales even after a week has passed. and this happens not just for tohoshinki but i think it's the trend if we look at oricon sales of other artists. idk.... if this is the trend, maybe tohoshinki would get around 350k at most by the end of the year for this single unless they would promote it or something to increase the sales....i really hope Breakout would be able to reach 500k.
um wait, Breakout will be used as a theme song for a drama right? so this might push their sales higher....and this still didn't include online sales right?
