Som Hyein was a contestant on the show Idol School (which ultimately formed fromis_9) in 2017, but dropped out early on due to health issues. She later took legal action against school bullying rumors and made a solo debut with "Mini Radio (Zizizik)" in May 2019.
Recently, she posted a photo of her and her girlfriend on Instagram, and elaborated in an Instagram story that she is bisexual and has been in a relationship for less than a year.

Yeah it was a pretty violent act too so I'm not writing it off as a "mistake". If male idols can't escape stuff they did when they were teenagers, then it's a double-standard to let her off.

yeah rightly called out on my end :\ that was my own personal trauma talking. I did just look up the details and got super triggered, taking it too personally while empathizing with the victim. that said, hyein was young and could have changed. we don't know the full story.

I also wasn't aware of all the details when i last commented. it's a lot more serious than "bullying" makes it sound, and i understand anyone not wanting to support her because of it. I will still be supporting her, but with a watchful eye toward her future behavior.
