former? isn't BEG making a comeback this year? i also wouldn't expect little kids to be interested in music by 30+ artists. they're more likely to be into artists/idols closer to their age like how teens love Billie Eilish nowadays instead of Britney Spears or Lady Gaga

It's true that they're planning a comeback, but I guess they wrote "former" because Jea is not really active as a K-pop star anymore. I guess she's more like an indie artist now?

Most of the members mentioned they're preparing a comeback for this year! I took the title from the video, I think "former" applies more to the "star" part of the title as BEG aren't as famous as they used to be 10 years ago.

Interacting with young kpop fans makes me feel old as heck. I forget just how fast kpop moves, and tbh it makes me a little sad that iconic groups and their achievements have been pushed aside and forgotten by younger fans. I also feel like younger kpop fans feel more like....they only pay attention to one group? That's so weird to me, as someone who's been into kpop for awhile. It's only natural though, you like what you like and your preferences are constructed by your social environment.
