Oh dear lord, I decided to skip through the video and half finished drag makeup is a thing of nightmares.

I really need to watch this show tho... I feel overwhelmed. I think I watched the first 2 seasons when they aired but now I am so behind.

Is Omona really promoting someone who sexually assaulted people? Shame...

She's so gross. It amazes me that she has stans (though not really because people will stan a piece of stained carpet these days.)

Soju is so fucking cringe. The "hanbok" she made for Drag Race was something else.

OMG I have so many feels about this. First of all, as a major Drag Race fan, I have watched ALL of the makeup tutorials and what she does with the blush here is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. I know that I don't want to go around looking like I have an obviously fake sunburn! WTF is that about?? How is that kpop?

She did just remind me that I'm out of Urban Decay All-Nighter--I'm using NYX matte finish setting spray right now, though I'm not sure if it works as well--but I was puzzled by her using it when her makeup was only half done. I do it when my makeup is finished, like a predictable boring person. But I guess when you're working with multiple layers, you want to set each one as you go along. I personally don't like to feel a lot of gunk on my face, which I guess puts me closer to the kpop aesthetic in that respect, except for the fact that I cover the few freckles I have instead of adding them. You know, my freckles that are brown, not white? I've seen some photo sessions with kpop stars who have been given freckles--unsurprisingly, Key was my favorite (#ShawolReprazent)--and all in all, they looked adorable. Nothing like this, though.

She does have the same MAC white foundation that I do, but I only use it on special occasions, on my cheekbones and under my eyes (cos I've got dark circles for daaaaays). I know that drag contouring has to be Out To There, but overall, I can't see this as any kind of kpop look. I don't follow her on Insta but I concur that she's just a superfan whose publicity got her on the show. Let's not talk about the far more deserving and experienced queens who still have yet to become Ru Girls yet, mmmkay? How many times did Nina West try out, eight?

yeah, like where's the gradient lip? sure, the "hangover blush" thing was a trend for a while (not necessarily in kpop though), but I don't see any elements in this look that are inspired by kpop at all.
