HyunA has released a statement to explain why her lips have changed so drastically.

Earlier that day, HyunA who was leaving for Taiwan was spotted at Incheon International airport. Wearing a mint-colored sleeveless dress, HyunA showed off her solid body line and radiant beauty.

However, netizens raised suspicions about HyunA's lips saying "did she get lip injections?? She looks so different?" resulting in "Hyuna Lips" trending in search engine rankings. In addition, a lot of netizens posted malicious comments online about her drastic appearance.









The singer posted a screenshot of the real-time search engine rankings about her new look along with a caption that read: "I don't do a lot of eye makeup so I overdrew my lips. Sometimes I'll go with a lot of makeup and sometimes I'll go light. I like to do that. I like changing it up with my daily schedules. I don't like the malicious comments that are asking me to just confess and own up to it."

Hatfelt's Yenny left the singer a reply on the post and said, "HyunA is bad ass. Don't touch her"

Fellow P-Nation artist Jessi also left her a reply under the post and said, "You beautiful ❤️"

I mean....that doesn't look like overdrawing lol but if she wants lip injections she can get them. I have thoughts about not being truthful about procedures and passing them off as makeup magic (obviously, making the no-evidence backed up assumption that she did get injections), but it's not like she's in a place where admitting that she's gotten them would be an easy thing to do.

Yeah. People like Jessi could get away with being open about their plastic surgery because, lets be real, she's not under the same level of scrutiny as Hyuna is. While Hyuna does push boundaries and push against traditional expression, she still very much so conforms to regular standards of beauty. She breaks out and does something ~outlandish~ with her performances and music, but still reigns it back in to not cause so much of an outrage. I don't think she could feel comfortable about speaking comfortably about any procedures until she's out of the spotlight.
