PENTAGON’s Yan An will be taking a temporary break to recover his health.

On July 5, Cube Entertainment posted a statement on PENTAGON’s official Twitter regarding the news.

Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.

We are are relaying sudden news to the fans who have been waiting for PENTAGON’s comeback.

Yan An, who was scheduled to make a comeback with PENTAGON in July, will be temporarily halting activities due to health reasons.

We feel very apologetic to announce unfortunate news to fans who have waited for PENTAGON’s comeback.

Cube Entertainment will do our best to help Yan An focus on his health recovery and treatment.

Also, PENTAGON will continue their activities with eight members until Yan An recovers his health.

Thank you.

Yan An previously took a break due to health concerns in August of last year.

Last time he was not ok mentally. It was during the time he was filming a chinese show and you could see him having mental breakdowns and not being ok at all during the show. Knowing the nature of this kind of problems and that there is no mention of any physical injure, it may be the same thing again.

oh that's really upsetting but understandably :( the industry is so tough + with everything pentagon had to go through, it must be so extremely hard
i hope he can get help and take it slow for a while until he feels better, mental breakdowns are not okay and i hope he can get the right treatment

Yea seeing the members say how they thought he’d never dance again and crying when he finally rejoined them and was practicing. I just hope if he’s not up to it that they let him sit out the tour as well.

oh no... I don't know much about him but he seems like a quiet and removed from others type of guy... I was wondering if it was something to do with his mental state and it's sad that it might be.
