Hello. This is Ga Eun. I’m greeting you for the first time in a long while.

I don’t know what I should say first… I don’t know if I’ll be able to fully convey just how grateful and apologetic I have felt up until now…

I think this is the hardest letter I’ve ever had to write.

First, I want to apologize to the fans, who will be disappointed to hear that my contract has ended, for not being able to spend more time on stage with you before the end… and I want to thank you for always sending me your warm support. The time I spent with my fans after debuting as After School’s Ga Eun was truly like a dream… it was a happy time.

I’m also grateful that the people with whom I spent that time together were the amazing [After School] members. Also, CEO Han Sung Soo and everyone in the Pledis family, who made it possible for me to live as After School’s Ga Eun! Thank you for cherishing me and taking care of me. I will always work hard while feeling grateful!

Although I will soon be greeting you as Lee Ga Eun and not After School’s Ga Eun, I will always remember the time I spent [as After School’s Ga Eun] up until now. I will always be grateful for the immense love you’ve given me, and I will work hard to meet you more often in the future!! I will do my best so that I can show you even better things! I will become a better person.

I get why she's thanking Pledis, but she shouldn't be. She got the short end of the stick and maybe could have been successful had she debuted under another company.

Now we just need the others to leave so AS can rest in peace.

I wish they could leave earlier but i guess they’re waiting our their contracts as well. Is nana still signed to pledis because i think she’ll stay since her acting career is doing pretty well? It would be awesome if all the members did a reunion performance together one day

I’d like to think her mentioning that she wished she got more chances to greet the fans through being on stage before leaving is her subtly pointing out pledis’s bullshit. Also of course they give her a low-budget MV as a goodbye. I hope she joins another company and releases a song that’s has lyrics like fuck you i’m better off on my on my own. i’m doing better now without you, etc.
