Date: 2019-06-30 12:01 am (UTC)I really enjoy watching this every week, but I think they need to wrap up the fight about Jung In soon. The side plots are big enough to need more screen time but as of now it doesn't feel it's given much attention. We also need more Eun U.
I still consider the scene where Jung In shows Ji Ho her dinosaur sticker the best scene in the series. It was such a nice moment for them, and so meaningful for Ji Ho ;;

Date: 2019-06-30 12:13 am (UTC)I loved that the mother stood out up to her husband, she's fiercely protective of her children which is great.
They've 4 full length episodes to go, so I hope they end on a high note. Its not how a drama begins to me, its how it ends/sticks the landing which is ultimately going to decide the drama.
Lets hope they don't introduce Ji Ho's ex-wife or something in the last parts. More couple time pls!
Very cute, and I love that the show is showing a part that would be female given to a male (the single father). #Happyendingpls4thecouple

Date: 2019-06-30 10:32 am (UTC)My thoughts on this show:
-The writers did a bad job with the bf. In the beginning you couldn't help but feel really sorry for him, so later they started trying to mess him up by showing us things they never even hinted before. Even to the ridiculous point of getting JH to say that he hated how he'd underestimate him etc, when the bf hadn't done that in front of him. Anyway.
-So many actor overlap with Something in the rain, come on, it's like those actors were on special offer or something.
-I really appreciate the director, esp. in how he builds up the UST. However, all his love making scenes are done in the exact same way, and it is getting very predictable (or maybe all kdrama sex scenes are like that?)
-I'm certain that the mother will appear soon...
I'm addicted to this show omg I don't want it to end

Date: 2019-06-30 05:53 pm (UTC)" In the U.S., Mexico, Norway and Japan, all episodes will be released on July 12, while in the rest of the world, two episodes will be on the service weekly from June 1."
I felt like it was interesting dynamic to see how the writer slowly pulled that on us, he seems manipulative af which feels realistic. I think it was probably how he felt like the bf undermined him b/c he was a single father, and I did love that Ji Ho stood up to him.
I assume thats a good thing lol? I thought the sex scene was tastefully done.
Ugh I heard SITR (Need to watch that!) had that issue :/ Lets hope it doesn't occur b/c that would dampen the show.

Date: 2019-06-30 06:39 pm (UTC)Anyway, I wonder if the writers changed how they presented the bf because of the audience's reaction. It's not a complete production, right?
Of course it's a great thing how JH stood up and stuff, but, again, there was never an issue with the bf not treating him right. And don't forget that the guy's going through a really hard time rn. Four years, and all that cognitive dissonance, not easy to get over.
As for the sex, not saying that it wasn't tastefully done, but this is the third kdrama I'm watching, all by the same director, and the sex scenes are exactly the same. The music planing while we see the surroundings of the room, then them happy in bed kissing, then nothing. idk, I was hoping for something different this time. More lust maybe too? Maybe more of his body? Or generally, more?
SITR def. did have an issue, and it's obvious that they're trying to compensate by going in the exact opposite direction as far as parents and daughters' reactions are concerned, esp. after the backlash it had received. Even when it comes to the same actress, it's like they're trying to redeem her lol. But nothing comes close to the UST in the first episodes of SITR imo. I actually wish we would have seen more UST in OSN too.

Date: 2019-06-30 07:02 pm (UTC)There have been some episodes where it was snowing and then to spring (So I'm assuming half pre-produced and the other is live?
Well lets just hope he stops his shenanigans and just go away haha. Yeah I know what you mean, relationships are messy and even though it was 4 years (The female character tried to break up w/ him and he couldn't take no for an answer smh). I think its probably due to how Ji Ho has seen the bf treat her and in turn he's like in a way standing up for her as well.
Lol yea in K-drama, the chance of a lustful sex scene is less than 0. Esp. on a network show, probably none lol, maybe they'll show a shirtless scene soon since many people seemed to like the sex scene. Lets just hope they keep on going with the show's realism and not insert hijacks that will turn away from the main couple! #happyendingpls

IA. Plus it wouldn't fit with the realistic nature of this show too. Just let them live in peace!

Date: 2019-07-01 11:00 am (UTC)Btw, how come you say many people like its sex scene? Have you seen several comments?
In all the kdramas I've seen (again, all by this director), it's the woman that initiates the sex, so I'm wondering if it's the same in other kdramas too?

Date: 2019-07-01 06:52 pm (UTC)Regarding the response to the sex scene: I just glanced at the Soompi forum for the show/social media comments/Tumblr and for the most part people are glad the two characters finally did it lol.
Hmm not really sure about that? I think its both 50/50.
