actually when you said cantaloupe i'm thinking of something else entirely that i can't find the equivalent in english lol. it's something in the family of pumpkin but really similar with and called cucumber (i mean, yeah, those three all family and it's complicated like that haha)
and if you think of the Halloween pumpkin, we dont really use it in our cooking anyway. i think the only indonesian food i can think of using pumpkin is a dessert drink called kolak.

ah, gotcha. It's probably a type of squash, cause pumpkin is in the squash family and there are so many and have a range of colors.

we drink the liquid too bc it's sweet and rich. it's heaven. it's also seasonal, so it's extra special.
