SM Entertainment has confirmed that EXO’s Chanyeol has filed a report with the police after sasaengs tried to break and enter into his workspace.

On June 21, it was reported that in April, the police had been contacted after a pair of Chinese sasaengs [in their 20s] had tried to enter an officetel in the Yeoksam area that belonged to Chanyeol. Topdaily reported that a woman who was in the officetel by herself at the time had filmed the sasaengs attempting to break into the officetel and sent it to Chanyeol, and Chanyeol reported the incident to the police.

When asked about the issue, a source from SM Entertainment stated, “A report was filed after repeated incidents involving sasaengs, who have tried to enter the workspace used by Chanyeol and MQ.” When asked about the identity of the woman who was reported to have been in the studio at the time of the incident, the source explained, “She is a member of the crew who works on music there.”

The agency source added, “As violations of privacy that cross the line cause severe pain and damages to our artists, we ask people to refrain from doing so.

this is some scary ass shit but i'm relieved the woman wasn't harmed by these crazy people cause you never know. i can't imagine how scared she must have been and chanyeol after seeing those images. like i don't understand how these people felt justified to break into someone's property??!!?? it's about time sm and other companies put their artists well being and safety before the coins!

The thing that pisses me off the most is that there is such a defined focus on the woman who reported it to Chanyeol. Like idgaf who she is and how she is related to him. The focus should be on the break-in. Leave her out of this. This is a continued breach of her privacy.
