Seriously? Didn’t they have a comeback like, two months ago? Nothing against them but I don’t really understand why jype is investing this much energy and money into them when so far they’ve returned very little results (to my knowledge). I hope we get an itzy cb soon.
I mean they sold > 120k with mini and had sold out showcases in Bangkok, Manila (8k stadium), Jakrata, 2 shows in Newark, LA and Houston (and could totally have done more) so the profit margin is defit there. You have to smother people in content now as a rookie boy group or fans leave. Also Division 1 has no other artists to manage currently so their production management is super efficient with pushing out content. Plus it's just a repackage.
More importantly Itzy album in July (I'm ready for the girls to slay me too)
Ah okay. I already assumed they would have decent album sales since they’re a Big 3 boy group. I was more or less talking about their charting and popularity within the gp, but I suppose it is wiser to build a strong fanbase instead. And I didn’t know that about division 1! That explains a lot. Thanks for the info.
And yesssss I’m so excited for Itzy tbh. They had such an explosive debut that I’m curious to see how they’ll ride the hype train.
Yep, Division 1 has 18 employees solely basically dedicated SKZ (and Khun but thats kinda irrelevant)
I'm so curious about what Itzy will release. JYPE is banking on them big time and I think thats why the comeback is taking so long. They're looking for that Cheer Up/TT moment for them.
Yes my children! I'm excited for this. I'm hoping the visual similarity to the I am Who album means that this will provide the high quality jams like that mini.
I wonder if they will continue to reference the Robert Frost poem through out the album or if it's just in the title.
It's only a repackage though so I'm keeping my expectations low. Just give me Insomnia part 2 and my summer will be made.
Yesssss very much looking forward to this. Although nervous about them and SF9 both releasing new albums within a few days of each other. I don’t want them to have to compete!
