Junsu, Kai, & DK try their hand at 'True or False' - Cosmopolitan Korea

they're all cast as arthur for the musical 'xcalibur' and did a photoshoot + interview with cosmopolitan. the musical will start its first run in south korea next month! (side note: more than 50% of the music has been changed/rewritten from the original musical)

Ah, handsome DK! He looks so good in the first video. I'm glad they are putting out some songs. I'm always so surprised at how unique Junsu's voice is. But wow at Kai's singing, I think it's the one I liked the most from these or maybe it's just that I like that song most

Im so glad this was posted! The interview is fun & its good that theyre becoming close. I laughed too hard @ Junsu and Kais reactions to svts ages. DK saying hes shy was surprising, but it makes sense - hopefully he can open up even more with them. && that sleeveless jumpsuit is doing him -all- favors, wowza

To be a king was my favorite song in the original version (https://youtu.be/z52vj18Y2Cs?t=26), I'm kinda meh with Kai's version. The song should sound more youthful i think, since it's about Arthur pondering on what makes a king a king.

DK was super nervous, you could see his hands shaking when he drank water. That's probably why he sounded a bit wooden for his song.

If anyone is interested, his cut of the Listening Party got subbed.


Junsu on the other hand had all of the emotions ready lol
I'm interested to see how the musical will turn out....I read it will be bigger in stage production and fight choreo than the original and somewhat of a 4-D-experience for the audience...I'm hoping it will be a big success!

the song's so sad and junsu just sounds... hauntingly? sad. i'm biased for sure, but that song really just kept on looping in my head afterwards

they have a 27 person orchestra iirc, which is the largest one for a korean musical, as well as a cast of 70 ensemble actors, all of whom will be on stage together for a fight scene - there was also a recent video released about the production behind the scenes and some of the set designs were shown in it and it really looks amazing. the tickets are already selling amazingly, the musical ranked first on interpark (the website for buying the tix!)

the musical sounds like it's gonna be a spectacle!! I read today that the swords weight is 20 kg, and they didnt go with lighter ones because it wouldn't sound real in the fight scenes which omg, arm muscle training o.o
