I like it! It's got some very distinct NCTness, but also like they took a page out of EXOs soundbook
I appreciate the vocal heaviness of the song -- having the main vocals take care of the bulk and giving TY&Mark a smaller size makes the song really singable, I dig it. Johnny having multiple lines was great! Good for him! I missed some Yuta even tho Is aw him in the center.

MY BOY HAECHAN! He got the shine he so deserves! I've said it before but his voice is underutilized in 127 -- he's a main vocal for a reason yall

I'm impressed.
First of all, the team who made the video??? they must have been under insane pressure because of the delay, but this isn't half-assed or rushed. It's amazing. Props to them, I hope they can all get a good night of sleep + some time off now.
The song reminds me of SHINee somehow? like 2013/2014, between Misconceptions and Everybody. Some shots also reminded me of EXO's Monster. But it's not a copy, it has NCT's style all over it, they're nailing it. Vocal line especially!
I have to admitt I kinda stopped checking on NCT last year but this + WayV's Take Off is getting me back on track. I need to catch up!

yeah i agree. at least before they had their own sound but now they just sound like shinee in this song. although i wasn't a fan of their experimental songs like simon says i'm sure there was another way to reach a middle-ground

this mv was so worth the wait (even if--according to some ppl--they didn't actually change anything). the variety of gorgeous individual shots while all these cool transitions, effects, and movements are happening! THIS is how you flaunt visuals without being gratuitous and lazy ppl!!


i've seen every tv performance + live of this song several times over weeks and this was still a completely new experience. like that funky lil synth when doyoung starts? fresh af. so many of nct's songs have all these different random dissonant SOUNDS layered in the background and it's so distinct. i really love that about their title tracks.

So many great shots. My favorites include the multiple Doyoungs, and Jungwoo levitating with his hair blowing in the wind. And that JohnMark scene lol, it's so funny to me for some reason.

I'm literally in awe. A week out from their concert and im still reeling. I actually saw this like whoa. Went in super Taeyong biased and mildly Mark and Haechan biased came out super Haechan biased (highkey love them all but Haechan is legit a star) im happy he gets to show off his vocals in this song bc damn can that boi singgggg

The production value is insaneeeee but it paid off to make a really dope looking video. The SHINee-eqsue sound is probably why i like it so much lol.

I'm so proud of these kiddos. I hope that touring North America as long as they did was a very meaningful experience to them. Im super excited to see them do vlives and variety again so the korean members are comfortable and can be themselves again.

With haechan back in korea for a lil bit does that mean a dream comeback is on the horizon? bc pls SM i beg u pls

I really love this. I love their sound in general but mostly feel eh about their more pop-oriented titles. This one I actually really like though - I think it is because it sounds like something SHINee could also sing.

This sounds like something dream would do vs 127 but I love they are finally tackling vocal driven songs this era. Yuta is so electric as a center ugh give him a permit spot!!! My bb haechan tearing up the track as usual :’) the Johnny mark moment made me crackle there’s no way they filmed with out clowning the whole time. I’m surprised how cool I was about jaehyun?? Usually I always look for him first but he wasn’t a stand out for me this time.

lol I usually love everything 127 but this is just fine for me. not my fave title track, the MVs cool but something feels off about it for this song. they definitely didn't shoot enough outside of the dance shots with the group and I can tell in the edit.

I did say it on the teaser post and I'm saying it again. Those dudes might be the ones that made me listen to boy groups since Shinee. This song sounds exactly like them. I love it. I'm sure they won't keep that sound cause if I'm not mistaken, they concept is to be the urban band of SM (?)
Anyway this song is really good so I'm just going to enjoy the moment xD

the song was just ok to me but it's definitely an improvement from the mess that was simon says. the dancing is great as always and i love the cyborg effects and sets they used. i wish they would've utilized them more in a story line or something and not just have them as a backdrop to look cool. again it's like sm keeps forgetting about johnny. he barely got half a line
