- I am sooooo excited for CLC's comeback because the song teaser sounds really good!
- Hui and Kino are in a music variety show right now. I need to know what that it and how it goes hahaha I have no info yet aside from the teasers I'm seeing in mg Twitter TL.
- It's so sweet of Hyunsik (BTOB) to cheer on Seungyeon for Produce X 101 (Hyunsik shared this on this IG Story).
- I need Sungjae to do a drama ASAP! If its a sageuk, I'll be so happy! Watching him do an acting of some sorts in last Sunday's episode Master in the House in sageuk setting showed me once again how fitting he is for that genre. Plus he looks good as a king or prince!
- BTS is everywhere! And I find it kinda cute to see a couple of my mutuals in FB posting about them when a few years ago I felt like they'd block me for posting too much kpop LMAO

Yes CLC !!! I'm so glad Cube are making them comeback so soon after No. They can't afford to have another long waiting period like what happened after Black Dress. A digital single is a good way to keep interest up without investing too much, though Cube is going all in with the teasers, I wasn't expecting three different sets !!!

So I went shopping this week with my mom. We live in a pretty small town in Florida so I pretty much never have any expectation to see anything kpop-related in stores. We were at Walmart because she wanted to buy my stepdad a new cell phone for his birthday and while she was payinf I let myself wander around the electronics section and browsed the CDs.

I legitimately gasped out loud. They had two version copies of BTS' MOTS: Persona. I was shook because I hadn't bought it yet because of budget/money issues and I never expected to ever see it physically in my Walmart. I just stood there staring at it until my mom came to see what I was up to when she was done buying the phone. Long story short my mom just decided out of nowhere to buy it for me. I ended up with RM's photo card and a J-hope pocket photo. So I'm very pleased to have once again ended up with my 94z boys.

In return, a couple days later my brother and I banded together to get her this Michael Jackson Thriller Vinyl record she'd been eying every time she goes to the store but had been on the fence about buying.

So it was a pretty good week.

Apparently BTS have a deal to distribute their albums in the USA since Love Yourself, a Youtuber I follow go on a hunt each time to get all copies in shops nearby lol. I feel it's becoming more usual, in France we have book/electronics shops called Fnac & Cultura, and a few of them have Kpop CDs. I even saw season greetings from SM groups last time I checked, which I was definitively NOT expecting (but nothing BTS which pained my Army fan lol).

Since Eurovision, I’ve saved a few songs to my playlist. Ive been enjoying Spain’s the most, but also listen to Italy, Serbia, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Malta, and San Marino’s songs. Some of the Eurovision songs like SM and Malta’s reminded me that the songs aren’t that bad, just when they were performed they didn’t leave a great impression.

Sooooo I've had a bad week. I still don't have a flat, and anxiety is spiralling out of control. My therapist is also moving out (but she found her next medical office at least) so she's moving out + taking holidays. My next appointement is mid-June :( She told me I can always text her if I need to, but I'm a little worried, I feel the difference when I don't see her as regularly as I need to. But hey let's be positive ! I've started packing, my brother will be sheltering me (he's been such a sweetheart, I can't thank him enough) and I have a promising house visit this evening. Also my boss is looking forward to seeing me in a little over a week (finally!!!) and everything is already ready for me : mail address, work phone + work computer, office. I just have to breathe and do things one by one :') I'll be ok.

Looking forward to CLC's single ! I really hope they can keep the momentum from No.
Apparently Loona could be joining the June comebacks. I hope Haseul is able to join them again. Really curious about their concept since the Fire and Cherry Bullet covers hint at something completely different from Hi High and Butterfly.
Otherwise I'm also looking forward to Fromis9 and Yoona ! And you, what are you most looking forward to ?

Finally my copy of SNSD's Japanese best of arrived at my parents today, it's the only one I needed to fill the collection (I don't buy singles, just EPs/albums) and I can't wait to see it ! It's insane though, I filled a whole (big) suitcase with my collection this morning (it's so heavy it needs to be on wheels) and yet I'm still shipping myself albums XD

I read on twitter about Pristin disbanding and people were upset that Nayoung spent 11 years as a trainee but holy crap I didn't expect so many contract terminations! Sad to see them go, but happy for the girls. Glad to have gotten the music we got.

I got tickets for kcon. They were fucking expensive cuz I forgot canadian money means shit next to USD. My sis kept picking seat for the Chase bank members cards while I kept getting the ''oops a fan beat you to it message''. My visa woudn't go through at first cuz we chose the wrong tickets and I spent 25 minutes getting a error message while clicking everywhere. We gave up, cursed ticketmaster and went on our way but i couldn't help feeling robbed.

Finally decided to make a last ditch attempt an hour later even tho I thought there wouldn't be anything left and got two saturday tickets! I was freaking out (until I saw what it actually meant to my bank account but hey, I figured I've been obssessed with kpop on a budget for years, now it is time to actually spend for it.)

Buying tickets for kpop concerts is an adventure itself LMAO I've only tried twice when I was helping out my friend to get tickets to BTS concert in Korea last year. I almost cried of happiness when I got her a ticket thanks to our office super fast internet LMAO The tickets we got this year were c/o our fellow fangirl friends. I got back from Cali on Wednesday. It was fun.The weather is amazing and I can see why people would move there but it is not on my radar. I think I'll stick with Chicago or New York lol.

This is random but I was making a payment on my loan and what do you know I hear BTS coming through the radio in the loan office. Anything to make spending my money less terrible lol.

Other than that I'm already in vacation depression mode. I want to travel again asap. I'm thinking New York. Maybe in September? I loved being there for Halloween last year though. Any in the country recommendations?

FWIW, I live in the mountains in Cali (y'all come visit!) and we had snow this week! But things are more typically May-like now, thankfully. We have gotten so much rain and snow this year that in addition to the usual wildfires, mudslides are now a distinct possibility. :(

I heard BTS on the radio this week too! And I freaked. It was the first time I've ever heard any kpop on American radio. Keep in mind I am an Auld Person and well past the age people would expect someone to squeal OMG! at a song on the radio, especially not standing in line at the pharmacy. Oh well. I just couldn't help myself. *squees again*

Life update: I tried hinge for the first time last weekend and I heard it was supposed to be the srs bns~ dating app but I got clowned 10 mins in I can’t. All I said was I love parks and rec and trying to find the best chai in town and some guy wrote “ppl call me Ron Swanson and I got the best chai in my hand rn ;))))” and I assume he means his dick right?? Sighhhh I guess my ass will be 5ever alone playing the sims for all eternity.

Does anyone have any web drama recs?? I’m almost done with a-teen (god I love a good teen drama) and I’m gonna start page turner and society obsessed with love next!

hi can someone please explain to me about conscription/military enlistment life in south korea? i looked it up but nothing is explained in detail. i'm curious because i see key and loco having access to their instagram while i know others can't use their phone/internet. we can only see little glimpse of their life at the camp if someone there posting it on the social media. i wanna know the system, difference between active duty/different military program, how many day off they have, the schedule, etc. thank you in advance!

Now to share the difference between what idols/actors are doing...
- Public Service Workers or non-active duty for those who are not physically fit to train/serve the military (like Heechul). They need to undergo physical exam before enlisting and the government will only allow those who are physically fit to serve.
- Active duty for those who are physically fit. Idols/actors are now very much doing active duty to avoid controversies.
- The length of service and their vacation leaves depends on the military branch they join.
- Idols/actors have the option also to join military bands, performance groups and the such (they do have a lot of those in Korea even private citizens joins performance groups if they are qualified).
- Some are able to use social media but only when they are on vacation.
- They are not really allowed to post (all of those who are serving) for safety and security purposes.

I watched Along with the Gods last weekend and really enjoyed it. Joo Jihoon was so snarky and pretty in that movie. Watching the sequel this weekend.
Also, it’s SHINee’s 11th anniversary tomorrow (well already in Korea), so I’ve been jamming to SHINee all afternoon. Love seeing Key pop up in pictures, he’s looking good.
Lastly, been listening to Ailee and Clazziquai Project this week as well. Really enjoying them. Anybody have more korean, but non-kpop recs?

THIS! someone in my neighbourhood is one piece of sh/t who ALWAYS does is lawn between 11 pm and 1 am during summer, especially when it's warm he usually does is lawn at 1 am, when it's warm not but like nightmare warm it's more around 11~11.30, like TF???
you know i love grass but it's annoying that my neighbours always take turn in mowing, like when one is finished the other one starts etc. i hate the noise so much and it never ends
