Synopsis: Do Min Ik is an intelligent executive of a leading telecommunications company who always relies on his secretary, the loyal Jung Gal Hee. He has a past hang-up that makes him fire his secretaries regularly, unfortunately also Jung Gal Hee. Stuff happens and Do Min Ik cannot see faces anymore.. Well, with Gal Hee's face being the only exception. Which makes her indispensable suddenly!
Oh, and Gal Hee also somehow winds up assuming a double life as a famous movie industry figure, Veronica Park in front of her boss which causes all kinds of chaos.

I can’t get over how cute Do Min Ik and Gal Hee are on Secret Life of My Secretary. I enjoy the drama so much. Both leads have this natural puppy cuteness (especially Jin Ki Joo!!!) that just works so well for the drama and stops it from being cringy. And they interact with such.casual.intimacy.!
I mean, look at her adorable face. Her cuteness is so effortless.



And i loved everything that had to do with the invisible coat of self-confidence. What a profound thought from Gal Hee and it gave us these moments…. ADORABLE PUPPY DORKS WHO ARE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER.

Yes! I'm so happy im not the only one watching this show cause its so cute. He started off kinda jerky, but then we got past the 1st episode and he's actually sweet and not a jerk and just wants his mom to love him and a family. also jin ki-joo is so cute in this with her ugly shoes and red sweater. also i don't mind the female second lead. i kinda love that she is a bit crazy but also uber successful female entrepreneur. 2nd male lead is a wet blanket but we can't have everything

they are really doing a great job showing his background and his various sites!!!
first i was unsure about the 2nd female lead, but now I really like her hi-jinks haha and you are so right about her being successful while not ashamed to be ridiculous...very refreshing!! I kinda want her and our lead girl to become better friends or more like sisters

Me too, i'm reminded of shopping king louis a lot hile watching the show. not plot-wise but just how the characters feel, the PUPPYNESS of it all and the sweet vibe of the drama.

Jin Ki Joo is great in the role! The last time I kinda saw a comedic take of her was in Splash Splash Love, but here her talent for phyiscal comedy is shining! I'm a total fan especially since she made her debut in dramaland pretty late compared to her peers :D

OP, I was JUST thinking last night that I hope someone makes a discussion post about this drama! I haven't watched this week's episodes yet, but am enjoying it so far! I watched on a whim because I was bored.Thought it was going to be one of those typical "male lead is a jerk" type dramas, but was pleasantly surprised. After the first ep, like others said, the male lead is just like.....a puppy now. Granted, the change in attitude can sort of be attributed to the "accident" he has, but damn, his mom is cold.

His friend is sketch, as well as the friend's secretary. I'm guessing she is involved with the accident that happened to Min Ik? How involved is his friend in all of this???

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it lol I was coming in thinking Abyss was gonna have my heart, but no, it's this one <3

I think the writers are having us on with the friend being the enemy. Not sure about the secretary, but what she said to our lead girl about how her boss has trained her to be happy about the things that should be normal (work-wise) made me like her a lot haha. But the way they are filming her make her seem so shady!!!

lol I was surprised I liked it, too! I'm glad they didn't make Min Ik the typical jerk boss. He's kind of a dumb, petty puppy instead. Hahah.

I just started Abyss. It's OK. Only watching for Park Bo Young. I don't know if I'm going to really buy into the romance aspect of it since it is very superficial. I know fantasy dramas are PBY's thing, but am hoping she'll do like a realistic rom-com next time! Something like The Secret Life of My Secretary, even!

Dae Joo's secretary is def shady. Seems like they are manipulating her maybe?? Probably has something to do with Dae Jo?

I haven’t watched this week yet but I’m enjoying it. I didn’t see the twist in the title coming. I actually feel kinda sorry for him cause he’s so desperate for family and he thinks the person he might have an arranged marriage with is super caring and considerate. I think it’s fun that Veronica is a man eater. The second guy is boring so far. Second’s secretary is more interesting and I liked her in other dramas. I like the leads. So far I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They have managed to make it different from other boss and secretary dramas.

Yeah, the plot is like all the other boss and secretary dramas mixed together, so i wasn't expecting much, but it has truly surprised me with the characters!
