The SMTOWN concerts will be held at the Tokyo Dome on August 3, 4, and 5.

The lineup includes Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation members (Taeyeon, Yuri, and Hyoyeon), SHINee’s Taemin, f(X), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and J-Min.

It makes sense. It's not like they have any solo material to promote? And promoting the 9/8 member songs with just the five of them feels a little redundant so thats probably why they skipped.

Hmm they didn’t say f(x) members in the article like they did for snsd so it makes me more hopeful that the whole group will be there. Also wondering why wayv won’t be there? Ten and kun just did a thai tv appearance recently so it’s not like they’re only promoting in china. Plus sm already sent them back to the basement without any showcases or fanmeetings in china. It will give them another chance to perform their new song on stage
