Guys, tonight an 18 year old walked up to me, called me beautiful, and hit on me. I was dying. He proceeded to tell me that college was pointless because he already knew more than everyone his age. He can teach himself everything and doesn't need to learn it from olds He's going to start a real estate flipping business. The confidence of youth, testosterone, and beer is staggering. It was fabulous, I'm still laughing.

I can't get over that he thinks it's an accomplishment to know more than his peers, who are still in high school. I'm dying. I mean, I was the same, but it's still hysterical now that I'm older and I've been humbled by life.

- I continue to be very happy for all the wonderful things that's happening for BTS. They truly deserve it and I hope they continue to enjoy doing music together.
- Happy that my BTOB babies are still busy despite having 3 members serving the military at the moment. I really wish for Sungjae to do a drama soon! For me, he's seriously a good actor so I hope something good comes up that will fit in his schedule.
- People needs to appreciate PENTAGON more (specially Kino!).
- I'm super enjoying watching TWICE =) "Fancy" is not my fave release from them but their stages are really lovely to watch.
- PD101 X is subbed in VIU so I'm watching lmao being sucked into it again!

I GOT THE JOB !!! Second interview was yesterday. The team manager met me in the hallway to reassure me, which was a nice touch because the two other interviewers were harsh lol. Loooots of tricky questions and going back on something I said so I had to clarify it. But I handled it well, and here am I ! The HR departement called me this morning to officially offer me the position :) I'll have a much better pay too, almost 400€ more each month aaahhhh. I'll start in June so plenty of time to change flats + rest a bit
Seeing my psy today so she'll have the good news quickly and then friends tomorrow evening to properly celebrate !!!

I never watch survival shows, but i wanted something to watch while I ate dinner the other day, so I watched the first episode of the new produce. I guess I can see some of the ~drama~ appeal, but the length and editing make it a bit tedius. Kinda surprised jyp and yg sent trainees considering the contract length. Did they want to do something long-term and safe with some extra trainees since they don't have any plans for a new boy group?

I sometimes think agencies pick up trainees just for the purpose of throwing at these shows, so that they've got their name out there and being spoken about. For some examples:
- Blockberry Creative sent Go Yujin to PD48 after they'd just finalised loona's lineup - they clearly weren't going to debut a new group anytime soon, and she transferred agencies almost immediately after.
- DSP debuted April in 2015 and then sent two trainees to PD101 in 2016 (though that worked out long term when members left April and could be replaced with Chaekyung + another trainee)
- Likewise, CLC debuted in 2015 and Cube sent younger trainees to 2016 PD101. I really think adding Eunbin to CLC was a last-minute idea to capitalise on her popularity in the show, especially looking at how poorly it worked. There were clearly no plans to debut the other two any time soon, even though Soyeon stayed with the company and debuted three years later in (g)-idle
- Han Chowon competing for Cube in PD48 despite g-idle debuting literally three months prior

With JYP on the other hand, I assume they're always hoping for another Somi effect.

it's gonna be a great few weeks of social life for me, I hope! in spite of the terrible weather currently here, and also possible heavy workload (but nah that's not something to think about now)

1. Finally watching avengers endgame tomorrow! got premium seats with my friends who have been geeking out on star wars/marvel related stuff since young. even though I read a bit of spoilers, I'm still pretty stoked to find out what's gonna happen (please don't spoil me here). and then off to 3 consecutive weddings (2 this weekend, 1 next weekend), it's gonna be good!

2. Soshi bond makes me feel so warm and fluffy. All of the members (except Tiffany who is overseas), have visited Yuri at her musical, and have posted on social media. it's a great 2 weeks to be a sone. (nope, please don't bring Jessica in)

I started watching Abyss and Secret Life of My Secretary (primarily for the female leads) and like both so far!
Abyss' first ep was kinda boring because PBY only appeared by the end of it but the 2nd ep was good! I like that the two main leads were friends before the events started. Somehow from the synopsis I thought this would be two strangers. So, I really like the relationship of our leads! And is it only me or was she already invested/interested in him before his body change?

Secret Life of my Secretary is -so far- basically a mix of Jugglers, Rich Man and the rest of the secretary-boss-romcoms. But it's charming and the main lead isn't a total jerk (no comment on the actor) and the female lead has that spunk without being annoying.


Also started watching C-Drama Guardian (YAY) and the new season of Lucifer (very very slowly, because I want to enjoy them as long as possible...the hiatus was much too long)

The Pokemon GO community is...interesting. Every time I meet up for raids everyone seems a lot older. I've seen a couple of people repeatedly but they aren't really engaging. They all seem to know each other which makes it even more awkward.

I've thought the same about PoGo, I feel that it's similar to facebook - with no data to back up my claims - that it has stayed a hit with the older crowd while the younger ones lose interest.

Making friends when you're older really sucks I hear you. I used to brush it off when my older friends said it but I get it now, it's like a selection of random people and if you don't click with those that's it.

I'm exhausted from full time work and full time job searching, but very happy it's weekend! No plans, just being lazy and trying some new restaurants. My internet is also down, so it's forcing me to go outside more, I guess that's good :p

i feel like im constantly in a state of calm breakdown. and i only say calm because anti-depressants make it that way.
meds can stop me from having constant panic attacks but they cant stop my life being shit, so i never feel marginally better.

ive been having breakdowns about my weight for 2-3 years now. idk what happened that caused me to gain so much so fast, my guess is combination of medications & medical problems i think. because i have not been eating that terribly or stopped working out ever. but i did start working more and having to sit for more of the day during that time. around then i also started having nerve issues in my legs (i posted about this in ontd asking for advice - when i try to walk/run any short distance i get pins and needles and numbness from my knees down to my feet and have to stop). and it fucking kills me to watch my body get worse every day and feel helpless.. what am i killing myself working this hard for?

none of my clothes fit, and when i try to order new fat clothes those end up not fitting either.. i was at the highest weight of my life already 40 lbs ago. im embarrassed to be in public or have anyone watch me eat. idk how my bf even is still with me tbh.

So I was doing some (very belated) spring cleaning ‘round about 2-3 weeks ago; when I went thru some old boxes, I came across some embroidery floss.
I remembered that when I was a little magicpineapple, I used to make friendship bracelets with said embroidery floss – but only the most basic ones:: the chevron/V shape & the diagonal lines.
Hoping to jog my memory a bit, I looked up “friendship bracelet patterns” (thinking to only find patterns for the aforementioned types) I & holy guacamole... there’s THOUSANDS upon thousands upon thousands of different patterns!!!!
I was absolutely gobsmacked at the sheer amount & variety of patterns.
So now, thanks to Amazon, I have an obnoxious amount of embroidery floss in an obnoxious amount of colours (ngl I still want more lmao).
I have been making bracelet after bracelet after bracelet – I just turn on some music & start knotting away.
I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy making ‘em, even those most basic patterns.

. I am crafty but I wasn't always. I make displays at my library and that forced me to become a crafty person lol. But outside of that I sing, and dance, and I want to take up guitar more. I would like to become involved in my local theater but I also never have time or energy. I just bought more polaroid film for my camera and I'm excited to get back into taking photos. At first I was only into it it felt to impress others so I was in a slump but now I'm just seeing it as a way to keep memories.

Omona should I go see BTS this weekend or should I be responsible and save my money for my vacation next week? I HAVE seen them more than once so like it wouldn't be a big deal but i know i would have a major case of FOMO. I want to try and go to multiple concerts this year (Jonas Brothers, Twice, maybe KCON) so maybe I just talked myself out of going lmao.

Other than that nothing exciting has happened. My job is offering a full time position and hopefully i get it because MONEY. I would like to have health insurance too so...that'd be great.

I hate talking about politics because they stress me out but ya'll see these BULLSHIT LAWS that are straight up anti-women?!?! God if I wasn't positive I didn't want kids I'm just ever more sure now. I am so happy I turned off all my notifs for news because my anxiety would be through the roof.

I went to the BBMAs and through a CRAZY stroke of luck ended up next to BTS. I mean literally next to! I could have reached out and touched them. It was so bizarre seeing them so up close. Jin is flawless. Jimin looks older, probably because I could see things that are usually smoothed out in photos, like the lines on his neck. Yoongi’s head is massive, or at least looks massive on top of his tiny body. The whole thing was surreal, I’m still not over it.

The LA shows were amazing. I was second row B stage both nights. The reaction of the entire stadium that first night Jungkook took off into the air was so funny. I have to say though, overall the crowd was kind of dead? Maybe it was just where I was sitting! But the audiences were so wild last tour, and felt kind of lifeless this time. I’m in Chicago now so we’ll see how these shows go. I hope everyone else here in Chicago has a good time at the shows this weekend!

Maybe there are new fans who went to their LA show that's why its more tamed that the usual? The few BTS concerts I went to were all really loud and fun!
