The shoulders and sleeves look so dated and while I'm thriving for the UFO, I just don't see how this is in any way thematically accurate. Like, the thing about the Met Gala is that you don't have to look good, you just gotta play to the theme. Like, it's the only place where Gucci's style really fits.
[EXO's Lay Zhang] decided to wear a double-breasted black nylon suit by Valentino. The maison's award-winning Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli called the suit "Time Traveller", as it features UFO motifs printed on the blazer in white.
Piccioli makes me so deeply angry. Like, most things in the universe make me angry, but Piccioli just... more than many of those things. I just. Him as a creative director? I'm rolling in my grave, and I'm neither dead nor Valentino.

I mean, the only even small morsel of being somewhat on theme is the shoes compared to the outfit, but that feels like reaching. :x
I only discovered the Met Gala last year (I am really out of the loop with America's pop culture but I love it) but it's so amazing. I LOVE looking at the outfits.. Dua Lipa looked so freaking gorgeous.. Cardi B was like freaking like.. sporting like... a vag and menstrual blood!? like omfg, you go girl. lol
