edit: just read the whole thing about her heisei->reiwa post and damn im glad she didnt just put on a fake smile the whole time, let them knetz know that they said hurtful things girl!! hope she'll be feeling better soon
The first article (the one that started the whole shit-storm) came from a female 'journalist', and with that article as the source hundreds of posts were made criticizing Sana -mostly- in female sites. Naver latched into this a bit later, and probably so they can bury more news about BS. Tho from what've I read the trending article in there was one defending her.
Looking at the translated news and comments, almost all of those defending her are male journalists/knetizens. Of course, this is not to say all those attacking her are women, but the majority of them are. Even after clarifications were made, other posts came out (in those female sites) criticizing her attitude.. but they were shoot down quickly for obvious reasons.
IKR? Dahyun made a post after Sana's but it was deleted quickly and no one's sure why. And usually they'd make lots of posts at the end of their promo but this time everyone is radio silent. Maybe they don't want to add fuel to fire, y'know? Pretending nothing happened & continuing to act normal will sure piss so many people off.
