Meiqi released her first solo digital EP '犟' (Jiang) last week and it finally has a ridiculously amazing performance MV. The sales were also ridiculous with 600,000 copies sold within the first minute and one million copies sold in 19 minutes.

honestly i'm not the biggest fan of the song but damn that choreography 😍😍😍 especially the part featuring 1MILLION's choi hyojin.

i reckon meiqi's voice is better suited for softer songs, she sounds so lovely in these:

her cover of gravity in the rocket girl's concert is magical (it even overpowers that tacky dress)

I liked the acapella portion she sang of the song, and it's true that she suits softer/more mellow songs! but these songs don't show off her versatility, and it's not the most trending in China so I guess that's why.

haven't followed Rocket Girls as much as I wanted to, but the Guangzhou concert was such a treat, and the fact that it's readily available on Youtube is great

I'm glad she's doing well. Is Rocket Girl still promoting ? It's hard to find updates on them in English.
