Since I always have the shipping for free (on yesstyle) it ends up being less expensive than stylekorean

maybe it depends on where you're from? i usually use sweetcorea, roseroseshop, or testerkorea and pay for shipping. the costs for the products are low enough that i don't mind paying for the shipping as long as it's not a huge haul - i'll buy like 3-4 things semi-regularly. i use jolse for a larger haul since they give free shipping over a certain threshold. i only use yesstyle for 3ce.

yeah i guess i don't have free shipping with yesstyle so i shouldn't say what i said lol. i do typically find that stuff is the cheapest on sweetcorea, roseroseshop, and testerkorea, though.

Sites like Sephora & YesStyle are more expensive because they have to import the products to their warehouse and pay for license and stuff. Sites like Jolse, Roserose or the ebay sellers are based directly in Korea

Doing a no buy/product changeover for make up, skincare, and hair products so not buying anything for while but doing a research into what formulas I'd like to try when something runs out has been kind of fun.

Last year I decided to stop buying new make up/skin care/shampoo's to empty out my cabinets and just get a clear view on what works for me and what does not. I'm still tempted to get certain products if the packaging is pretty though lmao

I am totally impressed with you limiting yourself to one palette! I could never do that. I have so many palettes already, yet I'm still all MUST HAVE MOAR PALETTES NAO! when I know perfectly well that it'd be cheaper to just buy the 2-3 shades I like as singles instead.

The "new" Naked isn't a heckuva lot different from the original, IMO, apart from the one bright coral shade. It's basically just different shades of brown and tan, as I try to remind myself every time I want to run out and buy it. I haven't tried that particular Huda palette but I know that's a really good brand (...if we're judging by how much it costs at Sephora, anyway).

I would LOVE more k-beauty posts! The semi-local store where I recently bought my first-ever SHINee CD is mainly beauty products and I would love to know more about them, but all the packaging is in Korean so I'm clueless. Apart from the double-eyelid tape, which I know I shouldn't have been shocked by, but I was. It looks so uncomfortable!

Ngl, I am (was?) a beauty hoarder just because palettes are so pretty
But we're spring cleaning the whole house, so I dived in my makeup collection too, opened all my palette side by side and basically the base colors I use every day are always the same, there's just one extra color here and there. So having palette ended up being more expensive than buying singles.
So I kept one base palette and a bunch of singles.

NGL though, the born to run palette is calling my name because of how pretty it is but I'd rather invest in colors I'll actually use.

I mostly check out their lip product and skincare.

not that i know of. she likes bright colours and sparkly stuff and liquid/cream formulas so i know she's picking up some of the kaja beauty moon crystal pigments at the rouge sale. she's always been a big fan of the touch in sol foil & glitter eyeshadow duos but those are not as readily available anymore - looks like they have some on dollskill though.

they do seem bright (based on reviews) - that's what's attracting me to them. and longevity. i actually don't have a lot of k-beauty stains, i think i tried one etude house one and gave up lol.

Can't deal with lipstick so I usually use stains or tinted balms and the best ones start strong and fade nicely. out of the ones I have I like the peripera ones best. i have a face shop one, tonymoly and a labiotte and they're just kinda ok. Might have to stop by sephora and see how they look irl. they're so much more expensive in comparison to k-beauty ones tho lol that's what trips me up.

yes! I have one of the ink velvet ones and two airy ink velvets (trying to stick to one formula per colour so I only have like 7 lip products total rn)

the only reviews I've seen for the bite one are first impressions so I'm curious to see truly how it fades.

I love makeup and I'm trying to get the most out of it before the weather gets hot and humid here. I stick to Glossier mostly and I'm tempted to buy their lidstar shadows as my first time going into wearing eye shadow. If I'm able to look good with it I may try something from Juvia's Place.I want to do fun but simple looks in the summer.

Has anyone tried Milk makeup? Is it any good or should I stick to glossier?

I also need to get back into my skincare routine. I've been looking rough i feel like and my melanin can only take me so far. I want to splurge on that Drunk Elephant Lala Retro whipped cream because that was probably the best moisturizer I've ever felt in my life.
