Is IU problematic in any way? I'm curious, because I'd thought she was Korea's 'little sister' or something, plus it's so cute how Jungkook seems to have been crushing on her for years (I actually loved the song of hers he sang in his audition). However, I remember reading at one point that Asian men had found some scenes (from something not released yet? idk) of her trying to seduce a white guy problematic, anyway, I hadn't paid much attention, but I'm curious to see what people think of her

Hmm. I don't recall her being problematic, but she has had a few controversies. One was related to a song from her Chat-Shire album, Ze-ze. If I remember correctly, it had to do with her more "mature" interpretation of the 5-year old character, Ze-ze, from some book. Another was that leaked photo of her and Eunhyuk from SuJu. He almost looks as if he is not wearing a shirt and yeah. It's like a selfie type pic of them at, presumably, one of their houses.

IDK about the thing you mentioned, maybe someone else knows?

I really like IU though. She has pure talent and is one of the few artists who isn't afraid to speak out and voice her opinion.
