BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” music video was among several determined to be unsuitable for broadcast by KBS.

On April 25, KBS released the results of their fourth-week music video review. From this evaluation, the music video for BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” and the music video for Park Bom’s upcoming title track “4:44” were banned for violating traffic laws, Kim Dong Han’s “Focus” music video was banned for brand label exposure, and Jo Jung Min’s “Ready Q” music video was banned for sensationalism.

KBS did not give a further explanation regarding the ban of the “Kill This Love” music video. However, fans have speculated that the decision was a result of a scene in which Rosé is seen driving a car without wearing a seat belt.

Music videos deemed unfit for broadcast can be edited and submitted for reevaluation. If not, they will not be shown by KBS.

Honestly I'm always amused by the seat belt rule. Especially if it turns out not Rosé wearing a seat belt impacted their decision more than Rosé speading to run over herself x)

It's my dream to one day be determined to be unfit for broadcast.

....they do realize those cars are not moving in the music video? They aren't actually driving right?
