this concept has a very deliberate late 2000 k-pop vibe, both songwise and in terms of aesthetics. it’s not my fav aes tbh, but i can appreciate how well put-together it is. after one listen i find the song a bit underwhelming and bland, esp the chorus, but i’m fully aware that i might end up having to eat my words later when i’ve warmed up to it, as is often the case w twice songs for me
one thing that stuck out is that this is probably the best twice has sounded on a title track overall (imo). there’s no annoying aegyo singing, the rap isn’t embarrassing, hell even momo sounds kinda good. it feels like smth you could show non-kpop fans without cringing at certain parts

I love it! There is really no part I’d wish to change. The hook isn’t as interesting as I’d hope, but I know since Twice’s songs are an earworm for me so it’s not a big deal.

I knew it would be mostly cgi since there was no leaks of them out and about when they were making the video as what happened when Likey came out, but there were some scenes I’d make more aesthetically pleasing. Edit - as I rewatch it 5 times, I’m accepting the MV more lmaoooo. I wish they just went even more exaggerated but still it’s so visually interesting
Also on a final note - I’m so glad JYP isn’t continuing the trend of dropping the chorus. I know that’s super popular in the US and since kpop is influenced by western pop it’s been creeping into kpop and I find it so annoying. So thank you Twice! I’m going to need a new icon!

Unsurprisingly, I love it. It feels like a more mature direction while still keeping their refreshing colourful style. The line distribution seems pretty evenly spread out, which I’m grateful for. I don’t mind Momo’s voice here, thank GOD. I’m so tired of them making her sing in an ungodly high pitch. Her voice isn’t half bad when utilised properly.
Chaeyoung had so much time to shine and show off her charisma here. More often than not, she gets sidelined, so I’m happy with all the screen time she got. Mina was also STUNNING. I finally understand all the hype surrounding her visuals.
And yeah, the mv is pretty random. Feels like they just flung a bunch of special effects at a wall to see what stuck, but I don’t mind. The girls made it fun to watch as always.

I really like the aesthetics of the m/v and they all look amazing (especially Chaeyoung!). I wish there was more Jihyo (in every way) and less Nayeon in the vocals though.... The song still has to grow on me, but it's fun.

The verses are good, the intro is good, but the chorus was anticlimactic, borderline obnoxious. That being said, I like the colours and the solo concept shots in this, very pretty.
Edit: Gave it a second listen, this time with headphones on, much better experience. Still think the pre-chorus and chorus could have used more work, but overall, a solid song. And as someone else mentioned, Mina's fake ponytail is the winner here.

I agree about it being a step in the right direction. I think they’ll be ok, this still has elements that are very Twice - the song is still about love and pursuing a crush, groundbreaking. Fingertip felt very abrupt - like bam! New concept! While here Twice seems to more subtle about it, which should work in their favor.
I hope this song and album gets them more female fans, more female fan chants pleaseee

otherwise, loving the styling, i'm excited about their live stages, this song will have to grow on me a bit more, but i like it, it's a bit similar to what they've been going for recently, so it's not like i'm OMG THIS IS BRAND NEW INFORMATION.GIF but i like it! will definitely play this a LOT, i already know it, it's an easy listen
The MV was okay, tho it would've been more impressive if I hadn't seen similar things in Dalla Dalla already (I thought the groups all had their own teams?). Also the repetition of certain scenes was a little underwhelming.
The song is nice, would've liked a little more edge but for Twice this is pretty edgy lol. Verses > chorus > bridge > prechorus. The dance looks fun.
