NCT 127 to Perform "Superhuman" on GMA + "We Are Superhuman" Mini Album Details

Additionally, NCT 127 has revealed that their new mini album “We are Superhuman” will contain a total of six tracks: the title track “Superhuman,” “Highway to Heaven,” “Fool,” “Jet Lag,” “Paper Plane,” and “Outro: We are 127.”

“We are Superhuman” will be released online on various music sites on May 24 at 6 p.m. KST, while the physical album will be released on May 27 KST. Pre-orders for the album will begin on April 22.

The timing is super weird. My wild guess is they will perform an English ver. at GMA + NA tour and the Korean ver. will only be revealed next month.

Ok I was wrong, just watched GMA and it's in Korean. Reminds me of SHINee or maybe EXO? Someone on Twitter mentioned Married to the Music while I thought of Lucky One. It doesn't sound very 127-ish to me but that means people who say their title tracks are just noise will have less to complain about. This scheduling is still totally weird.

I have no clue, honestly ... But I guess I trust the Korean media to be right about this. There's speculation that they're gonna perform the English version tomorrow and that the Korean one will be released later.

EDIT: A friend just told me that they were apparently seen rehearsing Cherry Bomb ... Wtf.

Yeah, that's also what I read. So unless they are releasing a MV for the english version or a digital release for it, I still don't get why perform it now. It's just such an odd desicion as of now.

They did 1:45 of it and left out the rap parts so I’m not entirely sure how much of that there will be. It’s definitely very shinee as people have said. As an sm bg release I like that it’s highlighting the vocalists and has a great groove but for a 127 title song?? Not sure. Have to hear the whole thing but it feels like they might be falling into the same trap bts did.

It also struck me that the cut they used didn't have any rap at all. I wonder if they'll only perform this short version in the concerts.

It’s comparable in the sense that the song is more palatable for western top 40 radio based on what their us labels think will work instead of what fits with what the group is known for/does best.

Like it feels kinda bland and safe from the snippet and not very nct. Even when they put out a title song I don’t like that much its still undoubtedly an nct song. This feels like a watered down shinee track and as much as I love vocal line they don’t have the vocal diversity/personality to carry a shinee song.

Essentially, they have a concert on the 23rd, they'll fly back to Korea to promote for a week and then head back out to do their last California stop? Why not wait till after 2nd June to do all of this? So confusing.
