There's not a single bad b-side but I'm partial towards Blow Your Mind. Taeil's vocals remain everything. These last two Japanese releases >> Regular- Irregular.

I don't fuss with remakes and stick with whatever version was released first, so my tracklist looks like:

1. Lips
2. Wakey-Wakey
3. Chain
4. Blow My Mind
5. Long, Slow, Distance
6. Kitchen Beat
7. Dreaming
8. Come Back
9. 100
10. End to Start

With that tracklist, the album is a much more satisfying listen. The inclusion of the Korean versions of "Cherry Bomb" (and it's the radio edit at that; not the performance edit that's been widely used) and "Fire Truck" leaves me a bit puzzled, especially when "Cherry Bomb" has an English version. Of the newer tracks, my favourites are "Blow My Mind" and "End to Start", but it's a solid album and blows Regular-Irregular/Regulate out of the water.

Cherry Bomb Eng. Ver was on an Apple exclusive release so maybe they can't release it anywhere else yet?

I imagine Apple has the licensing for a year or so. I know their exclusives usually appears on other digital distributors later, so it'll be interesting to see if it's tossed on a future release.

I sorta disagree with you OP.
IMO the new tracks are a bit disappointing when compared what they gave us from the Chain EP.
The Chain EP was just filled with bops.
Known of these new songs standout... they could've kept them tbh.

I know the general consensus people have about NCT's current sound is that it's just a bunch of noise.
Well, for me this time it really felt like that.

Limitless is still my favorite title track out of all the ones they included for this album. I am glad that I actually like some of the new b-sides.

their japanese releases always give us a new dimension to their vocals i live for it. lips, blow my mind, and long slow distance are my favs (for said reason)

putting in so many old songs (INCLUDING OLD KOREAN TITLE TRACKS ??) and calling it a full album is irritating as hell. only reason i haven't griped abt it as much is bc their kor comeback (?? ??? ?) is around the corner

it seems pretty typical sm for their groups 1st japanese full album (shinee’s the first for example, there’s only like 5 new songs) but with the added laziness of not even bothering to do japanese versions of their old tracks. i guess lyrically it would be way too difficult.

yea they did the same thing for Exo. TVXQ, Taemin, and BoA are the only ones who've had almost all new tracks for their japan album releases in recent years.

Lips and Blow My Mind are the strongest of the Japanese tracks. But SM, oh my god, you fckn turtle, is it truly that hard to put it on Spotify straight from the get-go.

Ahh AVEX *shakes fist*, that probably explains why BoA's Amor was also late to be put on Spotify (which I was also pissed about too). But yeah it's April 17 where I'm at and I checked it just now and it's still not up /smh.
