The issue started when Yesung, who was travelling around Osaka, uploaded a photo of himself stading on the railway tracks next to a small train station. He uploaded the picture and tweeted it with the comment "On the railway tracks".

Fans replied to the photo saying "It's forbidden to stand on the tracks, please delete this picture!" and "It's forbidden to enter the tracks. It'll become an issue so please delete the photo!".

The station where the photo was taken is unknown but it thought to be somewhere along the Hankai Line.

After Yesung had deleted the tweet fans were seen commenting "Thankfully Yesung deleted the tweet", "I'm afraid this will become an issue...", "Thankfully he deleted the picture before it got noticed and became an issue" and "The speed of the cooperation between ELFs and Yesung!! I can relax now."

In 2017 the talent Matsumoto Iyo and Hayami Yu entered a railway track in Kyoto and they were accused of breaking the Railway Operations Act and had their case sent to the prosecutors.

If found guilty of breaking such law one can be sentenced to a maximum of 2 years in prison or a fine up to 200.000 yen ( 〜$1800).

If he's so silly as to think a "cool" photos is worth changing or encouraging obviously dumb behavior, then he deserves no protection.

Also, his ridiculous use of filters/makeup/whatever to completely reimage his face on his instagram is annoying as f-ck. And I rather like him.

How instagram of him.

So many young teens here do this too, some got killed because they didn't notice the incoming train while taking selfies.

When I was younger my friend and I used to hang out and play at the tracks near her house... I am confused how you wouldn't hear it as we would know at least a minute or more before hand. We would even sometimes hear it in her house and run outside and down the road and the wait for the train to watch it go by. But I guess trains come if different shapes and sizes, and terrain effects sound, etc. I do think it was dumb of us to hang out there in retrospect tho.

Yea a lot of times you can hear it, or the train driver blows the whistle when a person is close. You can even feel the vibrations on the tracks.

But its really dumb to do because, like you wrote, trains come in different sizes, speeds, and its unnecessary to do. Wouldn't do it again.

I once ran across above ground train tracks when the train was like 20 feet away because this bully girl dared me to and I was 6 or 7. I never took that chance again and never fucked with bullies again. We still played around the train tracks but it was just picking blackberries and finding playgirls 😂 1995 was a good time to be alive.

The thing is... as an idol with fans, you think they could post a bit more responsibly? Knowing that fans will probably copy what they do, perhaps even exactly in the same place to be like oppa. :x

Tho I mean the station is basically at level with the tracks, lol, I can see how easily it would be to just walk off like that while bored and waiting...

Lol same it looks half abandoned. Also, ngl if I was randomly in Japan, I wouldn't immediately know it was literally illegal to stand in the tracks. But I understand ppl like to find things to criticize this guy for. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I remember reading an article about instagramers taking dangerous photos for the perfect shot. Like this couple was dangling outside some train in India above a HUGE canyon or something. One slip and you're dead. Why why?? Is the perfect shot really that important?? It reminds me of people who take wedding photos in the middle or crowded city streets. Like, NO. Go somewhere safe. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
