- okay so the dad didn't die but what! is! his! motive???
- I knew Ahn sent that kid with the candy and I laughed when the 2nd kid showed up
- screaming @ Ahn remembering the dream again
- doesn't like touching things but is fine touching dead bodies without washing
- Ahn just likes to run into things without any backup or precautions huh (re. the killer breaking into their home), this is why you get stabbed son
- okay so let me get this straight: Sungmo lied to spare Ahn's feeling when he ditched him at the orphanage, but he was gonna leave and never return SK, ended up staying BUT NOT BC of Ahn and now just keeps Ahn around bc he wants to use Ahn's abilities, wow great fake brother you got there Ahn
- So is Sungmo's mind closed off bc of his inability to feel emotions? that has to be it bc what else makes sense
- why is Jaein wearing a skirt while jogging
- "I remember everything of you", "your hands are co-owned", girl stop dropping these lines if you wanted to act aloof lol, also the slow-mo part after the co-owned line cracked me up bc it made no sense?? like it just came out of nowhere I CAN'T is this how it's gonna be like from now on
- Ahn is such a dork but I can also relate to gushing over someone and prob looking dumb while doing it I hate this asdfgh
- "am I nothing to you" and the pout after, this was so cute I am devastated
- I thought I'd be so clever to figure out the whole "inability to show emotions" bit in the book was either about Sunmgo or the killer, but then they revealed in right away it was both lol
- so are these subtle gay jokes like a part of kdrama humor or...
- anyways hard to follow the actual crime case bc tbh I can't remember the names lolz
- WTF! WAS! THAT! FIGHT! SCENE! ASDFGHJK that was the most absurd and unintentionally hilarious scene so far lmfao
- someone told me SK media has banned guns&tattoos from TV(??), which is maybe why no one has a gun lmfao but I can't help it there was so many other bizarre things going on, why would they all gather there to take down two kids?? Why does Ahn turn into a fcking ninja when he fights? why would the gang members let Ahn pass them holding the boss when he's unarmed?? and when the police swarmed the hallway and they had just batons on them I was fkcing done lmao
- when Jaein fell into Ahn's arms with the slow-mo again I SCREAMED THIS IS HOW IT'S GONNA BE LIKE HUH
- but on one hand it gave us some cool fighting moves from Jinyoung which he did himself with no wires?? damn Peter Parker who? like the scene was dumb overall but his stunt skills were pretty impressive

It could be that that trauma has caused him to disconnect from human feeling/emotion and that's why An can't get a read. We know the killer was terrorizing him and his mom before and they were on the run. I'm wondering about Seungmo's father or if that's him cuz if this is like domestic violence covered up by larger acts of domestic terrorism that's fucked up man. If that's the case then idk maybe Seungmo's kinda a psychopath and it's genetic??? idk just rambling thoughts
And yass at his stunt skills! Kinoung has been really charismatic in this role :)

I don't think the drama is trying to make a joke out of it... I thought they would go in that direction but it was a nice touch when they brush it off like nothing's wrong with being gay but hell no to the cheating.
I'm probably on the minority here but tbh I thought the fighting scene was cool and kinda set them apart from other couple leads. They are young and reckless and feel invincible. I don't know, I just find it very in line with Lee An and Jaein (throwback to ep2 espionage)

Date: 2019-04-05 06:49 pm (UTC)- tbh I actually thought of erasing that bulletin bc it wasn't as big of a deal after I thought of it but forgot to so that lol, I thought the Sungmo x Ahn running joke was kinda funny but also at the same time kinda fan-fic-y in that 'ooh look they're like a couple but ofc not really bc we don't want that in reality' kinda way, the library scene was kinda nice in the way you mentioned (tho also kinda far-fetched bc unless I forget some crucial detail from the scene why can't two guys just hug each other and be friends lol?)
(tl;dr my mind just kinda ran with it but I don't think it's that serious actually)
- if I erase the context from the scene it was a cool sequence and fit in with their characters, but I just can't stop thinking about the context and all the things that bother me in it lmao
Overall I think my preconceptions and dislikes for kdramas make me nag on these little details more than is prob necessary, but I've also been pleasantly surprised by some scenes and how mature and well-paced they've been (mainly thanks for Jinyoung & Ye-eun's acting abilities but also good dialogue)

and yeah the fight! very cool but also super hilarious. lmfao it was actually pretty cool to see ahn and jaein in action but honestly some of those moves or whatever were TOO MUCH lmao but i still enjoyed it a lot! someone please PLEASE please make jinyoung as peter parker happen... please. i was very pleasantly surprised to see jinyoung doing his own stunts heheh i'm actually not sure if this is something tvn prefers (because kyungsoo did all of his own action scenes too) or if it's something the actors themselves offer to do :o

Date: 2019-04-05 07:10 pm (UTC)i'm honestly not sure what sungmo's deal is, i just know that i'm liking him less and less! i hate characters who don't tell other characters, namely ahn, stuff that could easily benefit both parties. like he's keeping everything to himself when maybe, just maybe, if he told other people about what he knows, they could help? and also ahn totally deserves to know, i mean he was stabbed ffs!!! another storyline that i found very dumb this week: when sungmo looks through the security footage on his phone and sees that whoever spied on them had taken pictures of jaein as well so he gets all shaky (from anger i'm guessing) and his hands start trembling and i'm like... huh. i mean he is emotionally closed off right? so you're telling me the ONE time he starts emoting is not because of lee ahn (HE WAS ///STABBED///) but because of jaein? did ahn almost dying not impact him at all? he pretty much brushed him off after that accident and didn't even really visit him at the hospital like. does someone get me? i know it's such a minor thing but i found that sooo stupid. lee ahn should have been the trigger to activate sungmo's sharingan, not jaein!!!! kfhfdkhk

I love Ahn's characterization!! (does it help that we have Jinyoung smiling his killer smile with his whiskers in full bloom like every other scene? maaaybe.) Ahn is just very likable and while he's portrayed a bit dumb in many ways he's also got tact and a lot of sense you know?? Just how can you NOT love him??

Date: 2019-04-06 06:37 pm (UTC)- i actually really liked their fight scene together even though it was obviously like absurdly unrealistic. i thought it was fun to just watch the girl also be a badass and not need (as much) protection (sadly ahn did need to like defend her). idk if that scene was a reference to oldboy or not? it's kind of hard for a fight scene in a cramped hllway against tonnes of dudes in a korean show to not bring that famous fight scene to mind.
- considering that seongmo knows everything about the antagonist, including how he plans to ruin everyone seongmo cherishes, he has done a PISS-POOR job of protecting any of the people that he cares about lmao.
also i know this shit ain't subbed but jinyoung and yeeun are so cuuuuuute I'M SHIPPING ISTG (highly recommend watching these for cuteness):

I also think Jinyoung does better in these scenes? (the one in the taxi where Jaein is hyperventilating came off a little weak compared to the other scenes)
but no to the possible love that Sungmo has for Jaein? It's so weird and isn't he supposed to be emotionless though. But big yay to the love story developing so fast!

But I do like that he's an upbeat, cheerful dumbass who lets things go. It's way better than the usual perfect chaebol tsundere who wants to buy everything. they could maybe tone down the fact that he's a special forces ace at everything physical, but he seems to have more emotional intelligence than I initially thought.
I am actually tracking the murder/fire/stalker mystery and I think it's getting more interesting. Having them all connected, and most importantly getting to see tenage Seongmo makes the story a lot better. I want more of that actor, his (underage) voice is yummy.
