- KTL is tragic, just... They really picked the worst song for the title track
- "Kick it" is bad but it manage to be better than KTL The formula is the same all the time though, Jennie opening, some lisa, Rosé "intense part", throw in some Jisoo, repeat with the other songs. Having a sound is good, sounding the same in every song is not. I've heard both KTL & Kick it before (with BP and to some extend with 2NE1, if I want a throwback I have 2NE1 disco)
- "Don't Know What To Do" is nice. it could do well in night club, half tipsy, dancing like no one is watching. Should have been the title track tbh
- "Hope not" is nice in a forgettable way, it's a good filler
KTL grows on you like all the previous BP title tracks. Not everyone's cuppa tea though. I really like 'Hope Not', the girls sounded good in that and they could have done a MV with proper story line or something with it. wished it was the other title track instead but guess ballads don't do as well (see: Stay).
That DDDD remix should've never existed but some mentioned it's probably for Coachella.
I love Don't Know What to Do. And I also love Hope Not (which sounds like it could been Rosé's solo but that's some tin foil hat shit so I will show myself out). The other two songs are meh, and the remix is just... wrong.
While I don't want BP to flop I do wish something of YG's would so they would see a need for major release structural change. Somehow despite everything they manage to cultivate a mystique which allows them to treat their artists like this.

How is it that the DDDD remix is the dopest thing on here? The other tracks I ended up skipping a minute and a half in. Most of it sounds like their previous mini except boring....
They really peaked with Whistle/PWF and their vocals are becoming more grating to my ears with each release.
So, basically they released an EP of what would have been considered album filler. The only thing here that I'm loving is "Don't Know What to Do" and even that is just okay. That being said, it all slots nicely into their discography and now "Stay" doesn't sound so out of place.
Kick It reminds me of big bang it's nice to hear them on a more laid back song Dkwtd- had me till the chorus that loud piercing noise is a no from me. jisoo sounds great on this track tho and i like it overall Hope not- finally a soft song! i've been waiting for one since stay. should have been a Jisoo & Rose duet
these b sides of all better than square up b sides. I'm surprised how much I like these songs on the first listen — kill this love may or may not grow on me.

Late to the MV post, so I'll talk about it here. I'm disappointed because I really like the pre-chorus and ending, but the chorus/drop isn't really good? also the song feels super short, and super close to Ddu-du x2. I wonder if it will grow on me. Visually it was amazing though, they're stunning.
Don't Know What To Do! Kick It! those were nice bsides, enjoyed them. And Teddy worked on both so he can do something else than what we're getting as singles (which I'm blaming on YGE first and ugh burn the place down)
Hope Not is nice, it fits Rosé perfectly. I see her having solos with this kind of sound (if that ever happens...)

I just remembered that Seungri's "1,2,3" was supposed to be for Blackpink (he said so), rumours say Anda's "What You Waiting For" was also meant to be their comeback track but they ditched both (great) songs for... this?

It's....alright. Like all of their music, it's not something I'd willingly listen to (although to be fair, nothing that has been released by anyone in the past two years has entertained me). Teddy must have some serious power to have such a strong grip on BP's music (like...does anyone actually think that he doesn't?). Like....even the girls themselves know that their release frequency is ridiculous.
