On April 2, it was revealed that Roy Kim is the singer that recent reports have been referring to as celebrity Kim. Furthermore, the report states that he will be called in for a witness interview.

According to the report, Roy Kim is one of the previously unidentified celebrities in a group chatroom where Jung Joon Young shared illegal videos.

The report says Roy Kim was in a seven-member chatroom that included Jung Joon Young, Choi Jong Hoon, and more. Currently, reports claim that there are 23 group chatrooms and 16 individuals related to Jung Joon Young’s sharing of illegal videos and photos.

A source from the police said, “13 of the 16 people will be questioned,” and, “Seven people have been booked, and there is a chance that there will be more depending on the results of the witness interviews. As for whether or not [Roy Kim] will be booked, that will be reviewed after the questioning.”

A source from his agency commented, “We haven’t heard anything yet. We will check with him as he is currently going to school in the United States.”

The fact that there are still people who have been heavily rumored to be involved but haven't put out any statement makes me think if they're just biding their time to see what gets revealed so that they only admit what gets found. Not that rejecting the accusations means they're free of guilt (obvious example: Seungri) but better than leaving people to think did they/did they not. Like Jinwoon and Choi Tae Joon

Well shit.....Been worried about this since JJY got identified. Roy's silence on social media was very suspicious. Many said it was because he was working on his dissertation but I doubted it because he seemed too close to JJY.

Don't worry about it. I just hate how we're constantly unsafe because of men and we can't even trust who we thought we could trust. This crime shouldn't be buried tbh and I refuse to let it get buried (I'm already lowkey pissed there aren't any more news about YG's tax evasion case but I'm hoping it's just because the National Tax Service are combing through every piece of paper and every single number until they find something to charge YG with).
