Honestly, same–specially with Interscope/UMG being the one ordering the mini album in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" remix is just an English version with some added production flourishes (and even if that).

The low amount of songs doesnt surprise me. Kpop girl groups usually get mini albums of maximum 6 songs and then a full album once in a blue moon, so maybe they’ll got one full one in the future. Knowing yg though half of it will be remixes.
Still because they release only a couple of songs at a time i feel like i dont know what their identity is: just ~badasses~ who put on an accent and change their voices to sound “tougher” in songs but they also have a song about oppa and often talk about needing a man. I hate YG’s concept for them even though i do like a couple of their songs

I still don’t get that when female fans are actually the most dedicated fans of pop groups. In the states its expected that girl groups will have primarily female fans. This concept is also such a downgrade from 2ne1. 2ne1 actually had some thought put into their mvs with storylines plus they had songs about different topics from self-confidence to singing about insecurities. It seems from now on YG decided to put minimal effort into his girlgroups

I mean :/ I feel bad for the girls because they're obviously talented but YG being clueless about what to do with them exactly is hurting their potential fast. They're big definitely but idk how they're going to sustain it when YG continues to half-ass everything about BP. Idle debuted last year and they already have the same amount of songs as BP who's already 3 years old.

At the very least, I hope Kill This Love is Playing With Fire 2.0 because PWF is definitely one of their better singles.
