I have no idea what this is for. Initially I thought it had something to do with the yyxy repackage, but that idea stems from wishful thinking.

BBC said that there would be a short break after Butterfly and then they’d have a new comeback, we just didn’t think it would be a day after Butterly promos finished. After this, they stated that they would focus on sub-units again.

So maybe they’ll do around two weeks of teasers and then release Burn.

I think BBC did a similar plan with X X. I vaguely remember the first X X teaser coming out after (or around?) the goodbye stages for Hi High.

Yeah, except the comeback wasn’t exactly announced before the reverse teaser was dropped. Hope it’s not like that, it’s rather silly to make fans wait for 5 months like that, lol.

I really hope its not an april fools joke. I love how creepy the teaser is: the students in the fetal position, the burning butterfly, the girl on the ledge looking like she might jump and we as the viewer are trying to stop her, gowon going through desolate land all alone. So much going on. I love the logo design too. Im guessing whereas butterfly was an uplifting song this will be a more angry or sorrowful one

Though they first teased [xx] being the name of the next era right after [++] so they're probably dropping this on us to keep us on the edge but now we'll have to wait for months before anything else haha
