omonatheydidHappy Friday! I made it out of jury duty alive this week, so I am ready for the weekend! Every week I check out the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see what was on top for the 5th week in March, 2014. The ladies dominate the top three, so I let the guys have the honorable mentions this week.
#3 Orange Caramel “Catallena”
I remember this being super popular, I felt like they promoted this for some time. I love their sushi outfits here so much, I really liked all their styling this era. So pretty! I still laugh whenever I see that compilation video of the song’s opening with their (especially Nana’s) “Hah!” from the live stages.
#2 Girls’ Generation “Mr. Mr.”
I haven’t seen this since the music video first came out, I wasn’t really a fan of the song. I love all the looks in the hospital though! So glam and gorgeous. I don’t even follow what is going on in the MV with the dude…and I don’t care tbh because the girls look hot lol.
#1 2NE1 “Come Back Home”
I was never a fan of this song, but seeing this makes me the most nostalgic out of all the songs this week. But we got new Park Bom songs to listen to now! This was posted before, so we’ll see their comeback stage this week. PS, this was the time when Nana from OC and Bom were on that Roommates show together! There was one episode where they were promoting at the same music show and Nana went to visit Bom in the waiting room and it was adorbs.
Honorable Mentions
#8 Toheart “Delicious”
Oh, I remember this collaboration! I don’t remember anything about it, but I remember that this was a thing. You know what I mean lol? This duo features Shinee’s Key and Woohyun and Infinite. I really like this hair on Key. They’re both cute here! The whole MV is pretty cute.
#9 Nell “Four Times Around The Sun”
I love this so hard. SO. HARD. The video is gorgeous and magical, sprinkled with sparkly golden fairy dust. And it fits the song so well, and the song is so good too! I mean, “While the earth went four times around the sun, I longed for you and shed tears hundreds of times” ugh so pretty! You bet your sweet ass I’ll be making a blanket fort in my living room this weekend with this song on repeat.
