Just a few examples, but really, it's nothing new in music. People sample other artists all the time. I know the baseline from Chic's "Good Times" is one of the most sampled of all time.
It didn't begin with SM and in all honesty, it won't end with them either. I wouldn't be surprised if twenty years from now, their artists were sampled by a new generation of artists, and possibly not just in Korea.

I like Electricity, You Can Look, and Strike The Match the best, but I think Push Up On Me would fit best in the US market. We don't like kitschy pop songs :( I think the most disappointing thing was it sounds exactly like their version except with worse English.

Though I like the original they still could of gotten a rap or something in that song as well. I'd like some Asian artist to make it, but sometimes I find their English song choices to be horrible.
