I still can’t believe this is the number 2 most profitable kpop company among all of them. The lack of creativity except for maybe akmu and black label plus the way they keep their artists in the basement. I dont want to see yg group stans complaining when they continue to line the pockets of the company assuring YG that they can continue on with this mismanagement and laziness. Although if its true most profit comes from bigbang maybe YG will fall in ranking soon enough

i can't find the english language articles right now but there are korean articles. i misread those, sorry. the headlines were misleading. actually in terms of profit YG is number 3, so they are still a part of the big 3 behind SM with Bighit at number 1. And I just found out that YG has the highest employee turnover rate among the big 3. 38% of its employees left in one year! what a trash company

lol i believe they got their profit bc they do everything less, not just releases but they also do less music shows, and what they do are successful and they just do lot of concert and events instead, so... and they're still small in terms of staff i think, so less cost i suppose. although they do give their artists good apartments, i give them that.

only one week between BP and BTS comeback?

I guess I could see it working if they're pushing for a linked narrative, aka kings and queens of K-Pop in the US or something, but I think it could also lead to BP getting overshadowed since BTS are likely to top them in the charts and in terms of media engagement.

March 29 would have given them more room to breathe, but it wouldn't be YG if it wasn't delayed I guess

I feel bad for them, the girls are sweet and don't deserve backlash for things out of their control but what a timing... They'll have support from their fans anyway but I wonder how it will go in Korea, if people will support a group from YG.
But hey they'll have more than ten songs now :) looking forward to it

Honestly, I feel really bad for them. YG is obviously using this comeback as a possible distraction from all the scandals.

I don't think the teaser or the photo of Lisa look good either. She's a gorgeous girl and this does nothing for her. Tbh, my expectations are at -10 right now.

And how ridiculous that they'll only get a mini album. So that's what, around 5 new songs? And hmm, dynamic choreography .. so no more choppy static choreo that looks awful? Hmmmm. I'll believe it when I see it.

p.s. This reminds me, I saw Epik High last week and they were AMAZING, Kill This Love was played, we chanted Asshole at Tablo (he misheard our Encore chant as that and then we just started chanting AHole anyway lol)

I’m worried how they’ll be received in Korea. They’ll do well in the US no doubt but they are going to get so much hate in Korea despite any new achievements. Fuck YG for giving them a mini album, they deserve better than that. Hopefully they don’t get overshadowed by bts comeback.
