The song isn't a instant banger like Chain, but I like it. Seems like a grower for sure, in a few listens it will be forever stuck in my head like all NCT songs.
It's kinda funny, because of the intro I thought the song was going to be some kind of 90's boyband R&B slow jam. And I was so hyped for that timeline.
Everybody looks great but lol @ Johnny's wig, it gets funnier each time he appears with it. I need some close up pics and an NCT Daily vlog to explain that transformation. Thanks Jaehyun for providing most of the abs flashing. Blonde Jungwoo is so pretty. Nice way to include Haechan though he's only sitting down.
A lot of noise but a lot of singing too, part distribution seems alright without too much rapping. Some interesting moves/formations there in the choreo, would be great to have a performance version or dance practice.

Where do I begin? I've been waiting for them to top Limitless and I'll keep waiting *sigh. I really like NCT because of their talent + personalities but their music isn't cutting it. The sound and image they are going for are just...no.
Sound-wise, it's just soooo noisy and there's no melody here (or very little - they'll have a catchy line here or there buried under noise). I need accessible MELODIC hooks that are EARWORMS and they're missing it. And it's because they're going for this "hard" sound that just doesn't suit them.
Which leads us to their image. On one hand, the styling looks good for doing a harder, darker look but yet it just seems try hard. These are the softest little boys/young men. WTF is SM doing trying to make fucking Doyoung hip-hop? Lmaoo. He, Taeil, Jungwoo just aren't. At all. Same with Jaehyun, Winwin and prob Yuta. The only one who can carry it off are Mark, Taeyong and Haechan (image/attitude-wise). And I like Johnny as a personality but I don't even know how he's an idol or ever was chosen to debut lmaoo. He should be a TV presenter or Youtuber or something non-music related.
The worst part is that SM is squandering legit talent. Taeil and Doyoung's voices are amazing, and I really like Haechan's tone + range and Jaehyun is very solid too (plus his looks are A++++). Jungwoo is talented too. Taeyong is such a charismatic performer, great dancer and idc I find his vocal fry rapping sexy. Mark is uber-talented.
They should just add Ten and cancel the other members (apart from Dream, their best sub-unit). Honestly, NCT 127 was a mistake, just NCT U and NCT Dream would be better.
I think NCT as a whole has been a complete misstep, but NCT 127 in particular was terribly planned and is being poorly handled. And it's such a shame, because I agree that they have a few really great members who are being wasted in this setup. And I think the same exact thing every time I see Johnny, lmao. He seems like a nice guy and everything, but as an idol I have no idea what he's there for or how he even managed to get there in the first place.

He also got "Everybody goes" before the first chorus, and the "nanana" part after Yuta during the bridge before the last chorus. But yes his official role seems to be English narrator
