Date: 2019-03-05 10:06 am (UTC)I think the tracks sounds so good to me because they're not over-produced and in danger of sounding noisy but just enough stuff going on to make them interesting and catchy.
Jaebum's voice suits this style to a T. Yugyeom doesn't sound bad, he's just a little too nasally for my taste.

Date: 2019-03-05 12:53 pm (UTC)it brings me back to playing DJ Max, and damn did I love those songs while playing it. the 1st two tracks after Focus On Me were kinda forgettable, but the last 3 tracks made up for it! agreeing with comments above that Love Talk is that song.

Date: 2019-03-05 04:26 pm (UTC)first of all, focus on me grew on me (heh) in a matter of hours! it's become a top tier song on this album for me. and as expected, their choreo for it is so good! i'm seeing a few fancams on twitter and i love how they make their sharp moves work with this kind of song
ahh it's hard to do a ranking! drunk on you is exactly my kind of song and so is touch! idk if anyone saw that tweet but someone on twitter put touch over a clip of jinyoung in his new drama and with the lyrics and everything, it fits sooo well that touch is now my inofficial anthem for he is psychometric :') but even aside from that, touch would make a good soundtrack song, right? it kind of has that feel to it imo
senses reminds me of a few exo songs, like artifical love! :o idk exactly what genre that is? i think people on twitter said something about deep house? which i guess sounds true enough? senses in particular is sooo /jaebum/ hahahah it reminds me so much of the music he plays in the background whenever he's on vlive! as for love talk hmmm i like it overall but it reminds me too much of the kind of music that i grew up with in the mid-to-late-90s (partly thanks to my dad) lmfao like eurodance? anyway love talk is like a more chill and modern version of that and idk i can get into it omg
anyway long black is amazing!!!!!!!!! so happy i can always trust yugyeom to come through
