Soojin looks great and I love the set/editing (moreso than in ep 01), but there’s barely any choreo here compared to Seungyeon, so choreo goes to her but I give points for everything else to Soojin.
she's got a great body and expressions and nice lines but she's not a good technical dancer, she's visibly off beat for a lot and her moves are sloppy.
This video is more about charisma/sex appeal while Seungyeon had more choreo, so I'll go with Seungyeon! Anyway I really want the two of them to collab on one of Seungyeon's monthly dance video
Seungyeon did it better imo, because she's actually a dancer Soojin can move in the sens ethat she's a pretty girl with moves and she's feeling herself but that's not 'dancing' per se

Ariana is really popular in Asia, especially those with a homogeneous population. people don't really care about her mistakes and aren't bothered enough to research into her
I gotta agree with you, I don't see the point of some members in G-idle at all. Which ones do you think should be left in the group if they were four? I'd keep Soojin, Soyeon, Miyeon and Minnie.
Miyeon is the main vocalist but she doesn't stand out because she is quite awkward on stage. But then again, you have a number of main vocalists like that (e.g. Soyeon from T-ara, Seunghee from CLC). Maybe she'll loosen up a bit over time and become more confident on stage.
I'd keep Yuqi over Miyeon. Miyeon is a better vocalist but girl looks super awkward on stage and is stiff as hell. Yuqi has the Chinese fanbase on lock and is a stan attractor.
Although between Miyeon and Minnie I don't care which one you keep tbh. Miyeon is a better singer, Minnie is a better dancer. Ideally, get someone who's alright at both and more charismatic lol.
Yuqi has a much more interesting vocal tone than Miyeon even if Miyeon is the main vocalist. Minnie is more charismatic than Miyeon for sure because that girl is awkward on stage. I'd say it's a toss up. Isn't Minnie supposed to be the lead vocalist? Because in that case, you can keep Minnie as vocalist and Yuqi as visual. Win/Win for all! \o/
Soyeon really does carry the group. I understand when companies like to push a certain member because they think that they deserve the attention or will bring in more fans, but Soyeon doesn't even need them to do that because it's obvious that she makes or breaks the group. Without her idek what those girls would be doing.
negl I'm kind of really fed up with these "dance covers" where there is barely any choreography and 90% of it is only posing ... if it's a dance cover I want to see some honest to god dancing!!
no offence to soojin, I love her in gidle, but this ain't it.
right. like .. i want to see some technique, some complex moves. I get that idols are busy and it takes time to learn a choreography like that but .. why post this in the first place if it's just posing and walking.

I am disappointed by this. Soojin stands out in g-idle performances and this is a pretty lacklustre cover, with little dance moves as everyone has mentioned.
