I don't follow produce but I'm surprised at some of these companies since a lot just debuted boy groups. Guess they held on to a few more specifically for this. Any guesses on if any groups that have already debuted will join like NUEST did?

I'm not sure OP who among existing groups will join this season but its most likely some agencies will do this after seeing how it worked out for NUEST.

I read some post that knetz were saying that the participants of Under Nineteen should've waited and joined Broduce S2 instead. The top pick has potential to be the next Daniel according to most.

And I don't see CUBE (I don't think its CUBE after C9 but I can be wrong). They'll be launching their next boy group in a year or so. Broduce S1 really made Guanlin earn lots of fans and even Seonho has lots of projects.

Yes, after the mess that was mix9 and the unit I don't know why those trainees don't wait for produce. It's the Produce brand/franchise that makes the groups big not the survival show aspect lmao

honestly that was my thought when I saw DSP. Kard was supposed to have a comeback last summer and considering the drop in budget...they seem to be all but dead. Send both boys lol they'll stick out but maybe they can get some attention and DSP can get some money.

I don't know what DSP is doing with them, they went in international tours and made good money, they should be able to finance another Korean comeback.
Unfortunately Korea likes em young so both bm and jseph are too old for the new produce season :(

Has anyone from wanna one even released their solo tracks yet? They are already getting ready for the next season. The boy group rookie competition this year will be insane. If this season of broduce is as successful, treasure and txt are gonna have some major competition.

Jisung's comes out I think this week I think and the MXM boys put out a special release already. Daniel will prob debut in the a few months after Jisung enlists. seems like the agency is prepping all his stuff asap but Daniel has more time.

Jisung is on the 20th and Sungwoon on the 28th. Rumors say Daniel in april. Jihoon and Seongwu's solo will probably come out after they finish filming their dramas.

yeah I wonder if they'll put Chinese trainees on this show... I feel like they've put all their Chinese trainees out already and I don't know what their plan is for a Chinese group? (plus the environment in China is weird for boy groups I don't know if they can survive) But also if they put in Korean trainees I don't want what happened last year either. (I was supporting hyeongseop so hard)

if cube really not joining this year of produce 101, then it almost 90% confirm they will debut their new BG by next year.
or maybe they can just send 1 trainee that not in the line up of new BG like han chowon om produce48.

I think often these agencies just send a trainee or two just in order to have a presence i.e Go Yujin on Produce 48 for Blockberry Creative - they were literally round the corner from Loona's full group debut, there was no chance they were going to a debut another group or solo artist any time soon, so she was probably just sent for them to have brand presence - and she was rumoured to have left them merely two weeks after PD48 stopped airing.

I think this is likely to be 90% true though. I'm mostly interested in the Source Music/MLD Ent trainees, since their biggest groups are girl groups.
