The "posing´" choreo after the keep your chin up part looks better in the music show cameras bc I thought it looked a lil awkward in the vlive showcase.

now that tides are turning and i'm not ashamed to say i liked the song right away lol.... i really like their debut! song isn't perfect but it's fun and i find myself humming some parts all that time.
this choreo is great! girls are so full of energy and look like they are having fun (love love love yuna, she is so cute and her smile is fantastic). loves it! now i wish they had same outfits as for showcase because those looked youthful and twice-y instead of this whole insta baddie look.
also i still find it a bit odd how ppl interpret lyrics as "i'm not like other girls, i'm a cool girl" when to me it quite clearly sounds like a song about acceptance and they are even asking for advice from older sister in lyrics. to me it most def sounds like a song from a "i'm different and that's okay, i will love myself and appreciate myself" angle. i'm too old for this kind of anthem but i think it's a good message for teens

Iawtc and I also find it odd that people interpreted the lyrics in a “I’m not like the other girls” type of way. The chant they do (as much as I dislike it) even says “we got your back.” The whole point of “I’m not like the other girls” is to isolate yourself from others, not stand in solidarity with others and tell them to keep on dreaming lmao. Maybe that’s just me.

i'm still not into the song, since it's probably targeted to teens. but I like that the girls are smiling while performing and not wearing heels! though the dance is a bit off at some parts, especially that Yuna-Chaeryeong-Yeji part, what is even going on.

I ike their stage presence. Especially Yeji is really good. Ryujin stood out to me in the highlights reels and Yuna not at all, so it's funny that right now I find Yuna a lot more charismatic than Ryujin on stage.

Lia was giving off dead fish eyes vibes in the MV and looked chic but her eye smile is so gorgeous???? I was taken aback when I watched the vlive performance and she did a 360 from the MV. I didn't care for the song much at first but it's actually insane how it's grown on me O.o

Also for a debut performance, these girls have serious stage presence for rookies. I was unimpressed with Twice's debut stages despite how much I love them, but these girls don't show much signs of nerves imo.

I agree on the stage presence, but I think twice had a lot more pressure on them at the time. Kind of like produce 101 debuts, the public expected them to already be kind of perfect/used to performing because of all the stages on sixteen. It’s damn near impossible to live up to that kind of hype.

If Somi was still part of this I’m sure we would all be more critical.

4/5 of ITZY had at least 2 years of training together, while Twice was a mix and match situation and only a few months to debut together. I agree that ITZY seems more like professionals and that’s commendable since they’re so young and green.

Itzy is the revolution. I’ve been so obsessed with Dalla Dalla; the chorus is so addicting I can’t get it out of my head. The girls have a lot of promise as performers as well and I can’t wait to hear more from them. Also I feel like Chaeryeong hasn’t been getting a lot of love even though she’s THAT girl. Her dancing is so sick and effortless and she was working those expressions too. I wasn’t expecting to gravitate towards her but I can’t deny her talent.

i'm loving the choreo and the girls manage to pull it off so well despite how physically demanding it is. they definitely don't feel like rookies! i think its one of the toughest dance choreo out of most girl groups debut. and i actually like the song from the get go. i'm loving the energy, the styling, and how badass they are. my eyes are usually drawn to yeji and ryujin. i thought ryujin looks more into it during their showcase than this performance though.

they are my new rookie bias!

this stage presence for a group that just debuted... amazing. yuna especially surprised me. idk judging from the teasers i didn't expect her to be so charismatic but all of them are, really. lia fell kind of flat to me in the mv but she's matching the other girls here.
the part in the choreo with the thumbs up is so cute!

I’m very impressed by this group already, they have great stage presence and can put on a show! I love that they’re performing in pants and non heeled shoes.

For the jype family video, Tzuyu looks great with the long black hair, that’s my favorite hairstyle for her. And Jeongyeon sure is handsy lmao, I can’t do that with people I’d look like Voldemort trying to touch Draco - just not natural for me

Yuna oozes charisma out of every pore. I can’t believe the girl is only 15?? You can just tell the girl is giving 110%z

Chaeryeong and Yeji also did amazingly. Ryujin was surprisingly less charismatic than the other girls, but it’s probably due to nerves?

Lia is sooo beautiful. I honestly think she could be the visual of the group. I was also super shook when I heard her speak English lol. Based on this performance I feel like she can’t decide whether she should act ~chic or just emote naturally, but I’m sure her facial expressions will improve once she feels more comfortable performing.

All in all, I love the hard and fast paced choreography, I’m mostly here for the outfits, the girls did amazingly for their first music show, and they can only improve from here on out.

I thought I would love Ryujin the most, as she is so gorgeous, but Yeji and Yuna catch my attention more.

Yeji seems to have the best stage presence, and Yuna is just adorable, if the song was catchier her "Nan teukbyeolhanikka yeah" could be Sohee's "Omona!" ^_^

This didn't feel like a debut at all.

As for favorites, I adore Shin Ryujin, she's a cutie and I hope we see more of her in the future. I feel this song pushes the other members more. Tone-vise, they all have good voices and I'm hoping we get a good comeback for them.

Yuna is so magnetic, like I just can't put my finger on her but she's so confident and the fact that she's only 15 is making me tear up :'))
